The opening features lavender, sage, and bergamot, transitioning to a heart of plum, palo santo, and black pepper, and finally settling into a base of sandalwood and amberwood. 100% authentic, leans more masculine and smells like initio paragon which is an expensive niche fragrance.

I now understand why so many YouTube influencers speak so highly of this perfume. The blend of lavender and plum is impressive, and it has a captivating scent that makes people turn their heads.This fragrance is known as a dupe for Initio Paragon, but it’s only about 1/10th of the price. Despite that, the quality is excellent and the scent is nearly indistinguishable from the original. When it first arrived, the alcohol in the top note felt quite noticeable, but after letting it sit for about two weeks, that sharpness disappeared. I’ve heard that Middle Eastern perfumes often improve as they rest, and Vintage Radio seems to follow that trend as well.Due to the lavender note, it has a slightly powdery feel, which might not be suitable for very hot summer days. However, it’s an elegant scent that fits perfectly in cool or cold weather. The plum note is the most dominant, but it’s not overly sweet, which gives it more of a masculine edge despite being a unisex fragrance.This was a blind purchase, and I have no regrets.When I first saw photos or videos of the bottle, I thought the design looked a bit tacky and odd. But in person, it’s actually quite luxurious. The bottle is made of heavy matte-finish glass, and the raised radio design gives it an expensive look. I bought this because I love Kayla's Yum Pistachio Gelato and heard that this was identical to it, but at a much better price and with much better performance. So I bought it and did a side-by-side comparison with my travel size Yum Pistachio. I will say that it is VERY close, but not identical. I'm a man and don't particularly enjoy sweet feminine leaning scents. The thing about Yum Pistachio is that it's almost sweet without crossing into gourmand territory because it's more nutty and creamy than anything else. It opens up kind of green and herbal that's almost medicinal, which makes it more versatile, fresh, and unisex to my nose. I've read that some people don't enjoy that part of Yum Pistachio, but it's what really made me fall in love with it at first sniff. Affection does not have that note at all. It's more linear and slightly sweeter, which makes it more feminine leaning than unisex in my opinion. In the late dry down, they are both almost identical though. I do agree that Affection has better projection and longevity. I'm also worried that some reviews here are saying it gets sweeter as it macerates over time. If that becomes the case, I'll likely give it away because I don't want it to be any sweeter than it already is. Overall, it's a well-done clone and I'm sure that many will find it close enough and it is an amazing value. I was also very impressed by the overall presentation- it comes in nice packaging and was surprisingly heavy.
