Total Saddle Fit Perfect Saddle Pad™ - Western Pad

First off let’s start with I am extremely disappointed in this pad. I ride a lot and have issues with the actual pad rubbing my horse at the wither. No not the saddle. The pad! I purchased this pad with hopes that it would be open enough to relieve the pressure from the withers and not leave my poor guy bloody. Yes i even rode bareback with just the pad to verify my suspicions.Well that sorta works. However this pad is HUGE. I ordered the 30 inch square and needless to say it swallows my guy! But that being said I have done everything I can to help with this pad and unless you ride a barrel of a horse the “ relief “ is way to big. So big that it slides down enough to separate the leather from the felt. For what we spent on this pad I am extremely disappointed with the quality and the durability in just 5 months. If I wanted something to fall apart I would have stayed with cheap pads. I got way better durability from them. I have reached out to the company and currently waiting to hear back about either a replacement or what I can do for repair. At this point in time I cannot give a high rating . I really hope I can edit this review soon and give an excellent customer service review, but we all know this is a waiting game at this point.Edit: Customer service has been outstanding! I’m looking forward to the replacement!5 stars to customer service.Will continue this review to determine quality of the pads.

Best saddle pad I have purchased. It stays in place and has nice padding.

It's VERY well made and a great product. My only dislike is that it doesn't fit my low withered, short coupled mustang well due to the way it is cut. The wither portion extends out longer than the lower section of the pad so the top sits a bit on his lower neck. But it fits my friends Walker with high withers exceptionally well and has resolved her saddle sliding problem (so she bought it from me)! I will buy again if I ever get a horse with higher withers and a longer back. :-)

I was hesitant as many are with a pad this thick but I have to say I was amazed at how well it sat on my horse and had absolutely issued with it staying in place and holding my saddle perfectly in position. Never slid forward or backwards as with many other pads of the same material. Also, kept my horse completely dry along her spine with even sweat marks on her back. I will be buying this again when they get other color options.

I have a mare that is 16.2 with high withers and regular contoured cutout pads rubbed the back of her wither if I didn't put a blanket underneath it. I bought this pad and I can use it alone and it doesn't rub her anywhere! I love the style and that shims can be added to it. I do wish you could order different pad thickness to fit better with my ranch saddle but it still works.
