Tub safety
This is great, just what I needed to help me in and out of my tub. Clasps on easily, locks on and I can move it around if want to. I see there's a Moen with a double handle, prob would've tried that one, though this does the job.

Great and sturdy safety feature
This was quick and easy to install on the side of the tub. The height is comfortable and the feel is study and strong. This provides me more safety confidence than the suction cup wall handles that I’ve tried. I like it so much that I ordered another one for my visits to my sons house! Highly recommended this safety feature!

Moen is really dependable, reasoable price.
Really pleased with the stabilty, the look, the dependablity. There was only one challenge of install. I wasn't strong enough to push in the handle, had to get muscle help; rest of the install was easy. thankyou Moen for the bath tub handle.

Sent me defective parts and customer service was not helpful.
Had to return the item, parts didn’t fit and customer service was not helpful.

Sturdy and durable
Very sturdy, however, if your tub side is wide, it will not fit. It expands to 5 1/2 inches, which is fine for the top lip of the tub, but my tub side gets wider down its wall so it won't fit! Will work on my other, older tub!

Barely fits our basic tub
It slips, barely fits our standard tub, kept it though as we used that non-slip rubber stuff to keep it in place. Sturdy once that was completed.

Misleading Presentation Lacking Cautions
The outline of features above does specify "350 pound weight capacity " but under "More Details", "From The Manufacturer" and "Product Discription" I find no other cautions.Well, the 'Grip' doesn't fit the tubs in our large, 50 year old, NYC Co-op building and now that I've examined the unit itself it's obvious that very large, or above average sized persons could not use it to help pulling themselves out of the bath without having it twist out of its 'vice-grip' as the handle pulls back & down to the tub rim. This is especially so with the tubs in our building, the outside surface of which have, about 1"+ in from the edges, a decorative recess over most of the area. Reversing the 'Grip' won't work as the tub's interior slope wont accommodate the unit's right angle. When the 'Grip" arrived I did see that these 2 points were sort of dealt with in a minor manner among a plethora of other issues but all this was omitted from its Amazon page.Among all the promotional & descriptive material on the 6 sides of its somewhat large carton, on the back appears the line "Fits most tubs and will not harm tub surfaces" and in a square at the bottom right: "Caution: For Balance assist only and not for body weight leverage"This last warning is repeated as part of a tiny print but very large & lengthy transparent temporary stick-on label on the unit itself. These are major issues and call for much more prominence on the front of the box which instead touts "350 Pounds"; and definitely some mention is due by Amazon.Goodness! This is a Moen product with a list price to match!Or, am I missing something?7/26/13 I'd had the devil's own time putting this 2-part unit together; the top handle is to 'snap' into the main body. But on mine, it seemed as though each was made [by different suppliers?] to exactly the same measurement without the minuscule tolerance needed for fit. By force majeure I was eventually able to get them together.Well, now I must un-snap them so I can return it to Amazon fit into it's original packaging.I'm an engineer by training and on the unit I received at least, this is impossible. As a last resort I've even tried a large C-Clamp with quarters to spread out the force so as not to distort the 2 opposing large grey oval curved plastic 'buttons' that must be pressed together before the parts can be separated. No Luck; the inward pressure just results in outward swelling pressure elsewhere locking the 'fit' even tighter.I suspect this is someone else's poorly tested product to which Moen's bright young bean-counters, for a 'consideration', have sadly leant their good name much as years back you could buy a Black&Decker toaster or a Singer vacuum cleaner, both of which were sub-par, to say the least.
