Sakkas Kevina Stonewashed Rayon Embroidered Dress

I actually bought this one size up from my measurements because I have a larger chest. So while the bust fits perfectly, the rest of the dress is a bit big. I probably could have gotten away with the smaller size, because the bodice has a lot of give. However, this will still work for me, as there is a tie waist to cinch it together a bit. The slightly roomier size also will allow me to wear a blouse underneath this in the future to give it a renaissance feel without making the dress too snug.I actually purchased this dress to attend my Dad's Renassaince themed wedding. I'm not really into the full ren get up (it's August, it is hot and humid and I just had a baby, no thanks) and this dress was perfect. It has a modern yet medieval feel, and is like wearing a nice sundress. It will be appropriate to wear to other occasions that aren't Renassaince themed, which was a plus for me! I hate buying stuff I'll never wear again.The dress is well made, soft, sturdy and airy. It looks very delicate when worn, but isn't at all! The detailing gorgeous in person and well sewn on. This is a very high quality dress for the price.This has a longer skirt, which I was looking for. I am 5'3" and it drapes to about bottom/mid calf. Obviously it would be shorter on a taller woman.I would definitely buy another in a different color for variety. This company also has an identical dress with a shorter skirt!

I bought this dress for my daughter's wedding. I could not find anything purple where we were so I decided to try on line. I read the reviews and decided that this would do. In the interim if it arriving I found another purple dress locally. When this dress arrived I tried it on and loved it. I now had a dilemma as to which dress to wear for my daught's wedding. One was more formal and elegant and the other, this dress, was more flouncy and fun. Since I could not decide which one I took a vote, the formal dress won. Everyone said since I was the "mom" I should be dressed accordingly, not to mention that the groom's mother was mor formal. My husband asked if I was going to return this dress. I said "no" as I love this dress. It is very pretty and fits well. I am a size 12, so after reading previous reviews I decided to go with a large. It fits very nicely. I love the tie string in the back that allows me to make it a little tighter through the waist if necessary. It is made of sturdy fabric. And also because of a previous review I will only hand wash this dress as I do not want the embroidering to come out. The embroidering is partly what attracted me to this dress. I am going to definitely order from this company again. Perhaps a different style dress in a different color.

Much to my chagrin I had to return two of these dresses. I'm 5'6" with a 40" chest and broad shoulders. I could wear the dress in a size LG/XLG, however the top was tight with a regular bra, better with a compression bra, but that bra showed the straps. I considered sizing up to the 1X, but then it would have swamped me otherwise.There is a tie on the back of the dress, however it's up at mid back and doesn't cinch the high waist at all. Even with the top fitting snug across my chest the mid-portion of the dress appeared too big. I do have a 31" waist and often have to get two-piece clothing items (skirt and top) instead of dresses because of this issue.The dress - irregardless of the fit - is beautiful! The weight is more than I expected, and the beading and lace looks fabulous. Especially on the deep purple one. (I purchased two - Red; Cyan and Purple.) The finishing touches were great and if it had fit, I'm sure I would have received lots of compliments wearing it. The finish on the dress was very good. Made in India, there are some variations on the garment, but nothing stood out on the ones I received as flaws.The addition of subtle beading and stitching really makes the dress and it's comfortable 100% Rayon fabric feels good on the skin. The 'hand wash separately in cold water' should be taken seriously as I think the dyes used will probably be affected with washing. Out of the package the purple was a vibrant jewel tone and the red much more 'brown' than expected and not as vibrantly colored. Variations on color should be expected though, per the label which states: "The weaving irregularities and shad variations are characteristic of the fabric and in no way to be taken as defects." Air dry would also be suggested to reduce shrinkage.I would buy again for casual summer party wear, IF the fit was right for me. Unfortunately I had to return the two I purchased due to the snug fitting top of the dress. If you are not big chested, this dress would be awesome for you!

Plus size ladies, save your self some time and buy two. I've actually got four of these dresses now, in various lengths and sleeve configurations, and I'll just keep buying them until I have every color. I normally wear a 20 or 22 and the 1x-2x fits like a dream. Every time I wear one of these, I get compliments from friends and strangers alike. They're gorgeous, flowy, and super flattering on a large body. They've got plenty of accomodation in the chest (I'm a 44DDD) and the placement of the waist does a great job of accentuating the right curves while minimizing the tummy area. The embroidery is fancy enough that it can be a nice dinner or casual wedding guest dress, but not so fancy that it's out of place at work or an outdoor festival. The material is light, flowy, and super comfortable. The smocking on the back means that the dress fits snugly across the chest, but never feels constricting or tight. You absolutely cannot do better than this dress when it comes to comfortable, beautiful, and flattering plus size dresses.

I am 5'7 and 138 lbs and ordered the S/M (i am a 32G) and contrary to other comments i found it to fit loosely! Which i love! It is long, flowy, feminine and loose on my tummy which is great!

La couleur est magnifique . taille comme prévu jolie finition. Attention avec ce tissu laver à 30 séparément ça décolore beaucoup fabriquer en Inde .si non rien à dire bonne qualité.

Nach Empfehlung habe ich dieses Kleid extra in L/XL bestellt. Normal trage ich S max M. Es passt perfekt. Die Farbe ist unglaublich genau wie auf dem Bild. Qualität ist einwandfrei. Es richt ein wenig, aber das ist bei Stone-washed normal. Einmal ohne Temperatur kurz durchwaschen und alles ist super (Vielleicht würde eine Nacht durchlüften und Febreze auch ausreichen :D teste ich mit der nächsten Lieferung). Das Wasser war zwar etwas bunt, aber das Kleid kam genau mit der Farbe aus der Maschine, mit der ich es hinein gepackt hatte und der Passform hat die Wäsche auch keinen Abbruch getan. Der Stoff ist sehr schwer und die Borte passt perfekt. Alles in allem habe ich mir das Kleid gerade noch einmal in blau und lila bestellt. Ich kann es nur empfehlen, denn für den Preis bekommt man so ein schönes Kleid nur sehr selten. Da alles super war incl. der Lieferzeit von 1 1/2 Tagen + ordentlicher Verpackung (Karton) gebe ich 5 Sterne - Gerade habe ich gesehen, dass man das Kleid mit der Hand waschen soll :D na ja ging auch so, aber ich habe es auch nicht geschleudert. Vielleicht hat es deswegen funktioniert.
