Price is right, displays fuel level!
I purchased this gauge for my 1968 VW Beetle. I had to modify my sending unit so it would read Empty @ 0 ohms and full at 90 ohms as these type of gauges are cheaper than ones specifically for VW units. I've been monitoring actual fuel level and what is displayed on gauge and so far so good. Would buy again.

Reads backwards
It reads backwardsc F= empty and E = full. And no the wires aren’t reversed. I tried swapping the hot and ground It just spikes and stays there. Everything works fine it’s just backward. Doesn’t bother me and if anyone ever steels my car at least they’ll be on the side of the road wondering why it stopped with a full tank.
