Excellent traditional stoneware

Beautiful but broken
My daughter loves these as her gift!! But just be prepared, a few of them did arrive broken .

I am over the moon!
Love Love Love. I can easily set a 25 pound turkey on here. Made in China, the colors are a tiny bit muted over the ones made in England but I prefer the muted anyway. The platter was packaged very well and made it to me in perfect condition!

nice quality, big and heavy
This is really nice and I will prob get the other platters, too. it is so pretty- i love how it goes with everything and is big enough for huge turkeys and ham, has a depth for drippings and is so thick. highly recommend.

Christmas dishes
I ordered as a gift for a friend and it was perfect, these are her Christmas dishes that I have started for her an she loves them. They were packed really well and everything was in tact.

Great Present
These are made in China as other reviews have stated. I have never seen a true Johnson Brothers Friendly Village place setting so I can not speak how these compare to them. What I can tell you is I bought 4 sets of these for my parents as a Christmas gift. These are beautiful. There may be a slight difference in the vibrancy of colors from one setting to the next (you have to be looking for it) and one plate was noticeably lighter than the others. One place setting did arrive broken. I mailed it back, free returns with Amazon prime, and was immediately sent a replacement which arrived perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase these again. They look great, cheap but don't look it, for everyday use, and easy to replace. Plan on buying more of their Friendly Village collection. Thanks!
