The battery warranty is subject to terms & conditions including: the batteries must be installed in the Kidde alarm within 1 year of both the date of purchase of the batteries and the date of manufacture of the Kidde alarm. The Kidde alarm must be used in a manner consistent with Kidde’s User Guide, must remain installed in the Kidde alarm at all times during the 2 year period and must not have been previously used to power any other device. All warranty claims must addressed in writing to Kidde & include the original UPC & cash register receipt, otherwise claims will not be honored. Multiple submissions will not be acknowledged or returned. The Kidde branded alkaline batteries included in this package will provide power to either a Kidde branded smoke or carbon monoxide alarm for a period of time no less than 2 years. The Period of Coverage is 2 years from date of installation of the batteries in a Kidde branded smoke alarm or carbon monoxide alarm. This warranty does not include Kidde combination smoke/carbon monoxide alarms. This guarantee/warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
