Crazy Comfortable Crocs!
I recently purchased the Crocs Santa Cruz 2 Luxe Slip-on Loafers after spending way more time than I intended hunting for the perfect backyard pool/BBQ casual shoe. I've been sporting the Crocs for about a week and I think the Santa Cruz 2 is pretty great!► Sizing:Okay, so I'm just about a perfect 10.5M show wearer, however, experiences will vary by manufacturer. I initially ordered these in a size 11 thinking that it made more sense to size slightly larger than my half-size feet. Wrong! The size 11's were big and my feet slipped out the back when walking. The size 10's fit just about perfectly and aren't uncomfortable or pressing on my feet at all. So, for what it's worth, I'd consider rounding down instead of up when buying.►Loafer or Slip-on:Another thing that steered me toward the Santa Cruz 2's is the fact that the back of these shoes (heel) can be stepped on and folds down nicely making them essentially slippers. I don't plan on doing it right away but as these shoes wear more throughout the Summer months it's a nice option for an even more casual look... b/c apparently I'm all about casual looks.► Styling:I purchased the SC 2's in the charcoal/light grey finish and they look sharp! I mean, I know Crocs, especially the clog-style original Crocs, have a reputation but these are good looking shoes. The sole isn't obnoxiously thick, there are no brand markings other than the color-matched small label, and in general nothing about these shoes makes me cringe. These loafers are great with shorts or a pair of chino's/khaki's and look terrific without socks on!► Sans Socks:Okay, here's the deal on going barefoot in these shoes - you most definitely can and the inner liner is perfectly comfortable enough. In fact, the liner is super easy to remove and presumably replace when/if it gets too worn or smelly. However, in my experience, my feet get hot in these shoes and sweat. Granted, my area is humid enough for me to swim to my neighbor's homes during the Summer. The shoes do cool and dry quickly so slipping them off for a few minutes helps!► Why Not 5-Stars:I do like these shoes but there's one critical flaw - the shoes rub the backs of my heels raw when I'm wearing the shoes barefoot. I really wish Crocs had designed these to be more forgiving on the back of the heel because the SC2's would be literally perfect loafers. I like these enough that I'm probably just going to use them as slip-on loafers sooner rather than later instead of returning them.► Closing:Reasonably priced, insanely comfortable (minus the back of the ankle support), and stylish! Recommended!

Took a gamble and it paid off. Runs small, but a great insert.
I read reviews saying these ran small, and ordered a half size larger (i wear a 10.5, so i got size 11). maybe i should have went with 1.5 sizes larger for initial comfort, but once the shoes broke in after a couple of days, they were amazing.the real benefit with this shoe is the insert. the actual body and sole is nothing special (even a bit on the shoddy side), but the insert itself is worth the price. the insert is made of the same rubber/foam material the original one-piece crocs are made of, with a bit of fabric on top....i will deifintely move the inserts to other shoes once the loafer wears out.if you work on concrete floors all day, and don't move around a lot, these shoes are great for that. 7 of my 10 hours at work can be standing in an area and working, then moving somewhere else to work on something else. i tried a bunch of shoes. these crocs loafers were more comfortable than the rockports i bought, which surprised me to no end,i spent ~$30 for these shoes thinking that if they weren't that comfortable, it wasn't a huge loss. now i am thinking about buying a second pair so that i can have another set of the inserts.

Awesome Price for a comfortable shoe
I purchased my first pair of Crocs this past summer. I mainly purchased my Croc Classics because they were on sale and thought that they would be great to wear to do yard work and they are. They soon became my favorite shoe to wear because they are so comfortable even it they are so darn ugly in my opinion. I decided that I would like another pair of Crocs for the cooler weather and I liked the look of the Santa Cruz 2. I actually went to a Crocs outlet store and Amazon was selling this pair of Crocs for almost 1/3 of the price they were asking in the outlet. The Santa Cruz 2 is a very comfortable shoe if I wear socks with them. I don't normally wear socks with my shoes but the material is a little rough and hurts the back of my heel when walking without socks. I have only had these shoes for 2 weeks today and hope that the material will become more comfortable after some break in time. I have had several people comment on how good these shoes look and I do recommend them for comfort and style

Great shoe for any occasion
This shoe is great for any occasion. It is supper comfortable and looks good. The insole comes out and can be replaced with other insoles if you need more arch support. I have high arches and constant foot pain unless I get an insole for my shoes. With the Croc I don't have any foot pain and I haven't put an insole in it yet. These shoes would also work well on a boat deck. The top seems to be water resistant and the sole is just thick enough to keep your feet dry if you walk through most puddles. These shoes are also very durable. I am hard on shoes and have had mine for at least 6 months and they look as good as the day I bought them. The only thing I have negative is that it is hard to find the one I want because (at no surprise) they are sold out.

These insoles.........
Here is the deal with these shoes. They are great comfortable shoes and the look good but the insoles that come in them are so thick that they make the shoes feel 2 sizes too small. So I take the insoles out, and get a regular pair of coushined insoles for then and the shoes are awesome after that. Crocs wanted them to be comfortable but they should have stopped making these insoles half way through, they are easily 3 to 4 times thicker than other insoles. I don't know how anyone wears these shoes with the factory inserts. I mean I might just have thick feet but this is the only pair of shoes I've ever owned that are too tight because of the depth. Otherwise the shoes fit width and length wise.

Very comfortable, smart looking casual shoes.
Bought for a city break abroad - wanted something comfortable for pounding the streets. I already own some Crocs deck shoes that have been very comfortable but are starting to look their age and, unable to find direct replacements, I went for these (knowing already the size I wanted). What I liked about the deck shoes is that they didn't stand out as Crocs; these are more in the usual style, with a thicker sole. What's also different is the thick, padded inner sole that can be removed for easy washing, which make it a fantastically comfortable wear. Casual yet smart, these took me over miles of cobbled streets, both with and without socks, and despite never having worn them before, they gave me no problems at all, and fitted as well as the previous pair. Very happy with them.

Strange sizing
Seriously comfortable shoes but really odd sizing. My wife, father, brother, mother, friend and myself have all tried Crocs loafers and found that the size below is too small and the size above too big. I eventually found crocs that fit me but they weren't in the style I really wanted. We've come to the conclusion that Crocs has a global sizing problem they really ought to sort out!

Comfortable and durable but fall apart
Very comfortable, feel like they will last well.Edit 02/2020They haven't lasted well after all, the inner soles have fallen apart on both loafers making them unwearable.Disappointing as they are not cheap, expected better.

shoes as described
This is my second pair of crocs the first I ordered was a size to large and where a bit loose, I had read the write ups?The second I ordered my size these did fit in length but was very tight on the bridge so have cut the elastic on the sides this now seems ok.

Excellent shoes!
Great shoes!Super comfy, look good and seem quite hard wearing. The fit well and do not feel like they are going to fall off, despite lack of laces. Not much else to say really!Wish I had bought them sooner.
