I had been using a regular Jet Ski type of life jacket for kayaking and my #1 complaint was that the seat would push it up and it would stick up past my neck. This one has a higher cut back and it DOES NOT do that! It works great with my seat, and it also has larger arm holes to allow greater range of motion when paddling and does not rub on my pits like my prior one was doing, plus I am a larger person and it was easy to adjust to my size. it is also lightweight overall and I love the pocket I can put my car key in so I don't have to feel paranoid could come out of the pocket in the swimsuit I wear when paddling. Overall it seems to be a really good quality product, and I have used it enough times that I think it is going to last me a long time and I can still make it smaller if I lose more weight! I would definitely recommend this product!

Nice jacket for the price. Looks rugged enough. I wear an XL & fits fine. 2xl might be too big. I have this for sailing & find it comfortable. 1 pocket is good size…. I carry retractable marlin spike/knife in pocket w/ no problem. Zipper is nice touch.

This life jacket is great! It dries super fast and easy, super light weight!!I just wish the pocket on the front was a little bit bigger so I could store my phone there rather than around my neck as it gets in the way on my SUP. Other than that this life jacket is amazing!Adjustable, and for a bigger person it fits comfortably with non of the extra rubbing. The mesh in the back makes it super breathable and allows for movement. Honestly I would forget that I have a life jacket on

I bought this for kayaking, and the raised back padding makes it work perfectly for that purpose. I dig the design. It has good ventilation and easily allows a lot of movement. I like the reflective pieces too. The included attached whistle works great, is highly visible and satisfies Indiana's requirement for an audible emergency device for boating (kayaks).My only complaint is the pocket is oddly shapped and way too small to hold anything useful (like a phone) except the included whistle.The best and safest PFD is one that you actually wear, and this one is excellent imo.

I’m relatively new to kayaking. In reading about pfds I was obviously concerned about safety. Many highlighted the need for comfort while paddling and pedaling. This life jacket is really comfortable. I’m 6’4” 66 and 220 lbs. It’s very adjustable so I can share it with my smaller guests. Haven’t fell in yet…but I’m confident it’ll keep me up if I do.
