Great quality!
We needed a twin to king daybed to have for guests. We have an office that also acts as a guest room so space for us is limited. This was honestly the perfect daybed for us.I was initially concerned - few/almost no reviews, large furniture piece, AND Overstock had the same product for ~$50 cheaper. I chose to order from Amazon because I knew that if I had any issues- they would resolve it via refund even if a return was a pain. Thankfully, we didn't have any issues.PROS:First, the package arrives in 2 large boxes. Both were shipped via UPS and arrived at the same time on the estimated arrival day. We inspected all the pieces of wood and honestly, the paint job was really good quality, there were only small really quite minor scrapes that are not even visible after the bed was assembled. The size of the bed listed in the description is correct. The assembly took about 3 hours to complete and does require 2 people and ample space within the room that you are trying to assemble it in. We followed the instructions in the booklet and it went fine- however they only provide EXACTLY the amount of hardware you need. No extras. So keep a close eye on all your screws/hardware. We lost one at the very end and had to use one of our own to replace it.After assembly, the bed is AMAZING. It looks beautiful, feels high quality, and is worth every penny. We almost bought the similar IKEA version but with shipping would've cost ~$600+! We also knew that if it needed to be returned we would have to drive to an IKEA Store which to us would've been way more of a hassle. We saved almost $200 using Amazon.Usage:We store 2 twin (8 inch) mattresses on top of one another in the daybed position. The frame of the bed is high enough to not look stupid, and the back is still visible for pillows and to have back support if sitting on it. The bed does sit high with both mattresses- but it works for us. If needed for kids, they may have difficulty getting on the bed. For us, having both mattresses there makes it easy for daily use (naps!) And also ready to move down for the king bed position without having to find some random place in our home to house a second mattress. The storage at the bottom is deep and spacious and great for bedding storage. As mentioned we have 2 twins and use a king sheet set in the king position. We are considering getting a king size mattress pad to help with the dip in between the two beds to make that less noticable.CONS:Now for the mechanics, on carpet- pulling the drawer to create the king is a bit difficult. There are small wheels that are installed but on carpet is pretty unhelpful. It takes a little lift upward and pulling to get it all the way out and when you're pushing back in it must be pushed straight back and takes some effort. If this bed is meant for a kid or maybe an elderly person, they will definitely need assistance getting the bed in the king position.Overall, we love the quality, look, and function of this bed. Ordering was a great experience for us and it is by far exceeded our expectations!!

So impressed!!
I’m so impressed with this bed! We haven’t had to pull out the bottom yet but just from putting it together and the solid wood there was of putting it together- I’m sold. We needed a piece of furniture that had double uses, a bed and a couch. For guests who came to stay with us could have a better place to sleep at and my kids wouldn’t have to give up their rooms. Others have noted that it’s hard to pull out on carpet- it is, but we put those chair/furniture sliders under the front wheels and while it still is a little difficult it’s much easier.Assembly wasn’t too bad- do yourself a favor and get a power screw driver. It took my husband and about two days to put it together. We did have an issue in the beginning with Amazon sending us two of the same boxes, but I contacted the manufacturer right away and they were amazing to work with and sent out the correct box without having to send the old one back.(told us to keep it) plan to use the wood for another project!Overall, the size is great, appearance is wonderful and with a great mattress on it, it’s comfortable!Better than the ikea one we were going to get!

Decent product, good price, excellent customer service
*Recommend purchasing wood glue for assembly*Pros:-The best instruction/assembly booklet I've ever used-Excellent customer service-Cute product that is multifunctional-Packed well inside of the box, just not taped up well enough on the outside to withstand shipping.Cons:-Came in two (2) boxes (assuming for weight), one of which was broken. Resulting in MANY missing pieces.-Some elemental pieces were scratched, slightly broken, or damaged right out of the box. Warped wooden pieces/slats. However, not bad enough for me to send back, mostly easy to hide if you're conscious during assembly.I'm a determined 110lb woman fueled by coffee alone, and assembled this in about 4 hours without help. Bottom line, would recommend based off of appearances, ease of assembly, and customer service experience. I'm using this product in my guest room/office for occasional visitors.---Now that the disclaimers are out of the way i can share my experience. Shipping was speedy, but I couldn't begin the process until a week after the boxes arrived. The boxes were damaged and looked to be inappropriately taped for shipping. Because of this, ALL of the hardware was missing from the package. Luckily the booklet that came with, had clear instructions for situations like this. Less than 8 hours after I submitted a request for more pieces, I was informed a new set would be on its way to me shortly. Free of charge. I later found out I was missing three boards that make up the base of the bed. I will email the company again and see if they could send replacements. When the hardware came in, everything was separated and labeled clearly. Really satisfied my OCD. Items a-q for hardware, as well as numbers for the other structural pieces. Following the booklet and double checking your materials as you go makes it nearly impossible to mess this us. Very straightforward, not intimidating at all.I recommend purchasing wood glue separately, what is included just didn't cut it. Essentially, wooden pegs are to be glued into boards that have pre drilled holes in order for connections to be made to adjoining pieces, creating stability without screws. Cost effective for the company, and would be great, IF the wooden pegs fit snug. Which they don't. The higher quality wooden glue I had on hand (picture attached) is thick and ensured no wiggle room after it dried. It took about 30-45 minutes to mostly dry, so I recommend doing all of the wooden peg pieces first before beginning your assembly adventure. After assembling, I measured roughly 17inches from the wooden slats which make up the base, to the top of the side pieces. I plan on using two 6inch twin mattresses. Currently unsure how that will look as mattresses aren't delivered yet, but will update with pictures if I remember.

Unstable and bad customer service
We use this bed as a guest bed, so it’s not used super often. However, anytime 2 people have slept in it, it has broken and the mattresses sink in. It has broken THREE times. We’ve had this part replaced once, did an at home repair the next time, and now the company will no longer replace this part. None of the documentation I’ve received states that there’s only a 1 year warranty, but that’s what I’m being told. They won’t even let me purchase the part and told me to “contact a skilled woodworker.” DO NOT BUY THIS BED.

Precision lacking
We bought this bed to replace two similar IKEA beds that disintegrated in two back to back hurricane floods. We thought a solid wood bed might survive a flood better than a particle board IKEA bed. First off, the instructions are vague, materials are not cut with precision and required some modifications (and frustration) to put together. It seems more sturdy than the IKEA version but time will tell.
