As someone who loves soda but tries to be mindful of my sugar intake, I was beyond excited to try Sodastream Diet Cola. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The flavor is crisp and refreshing, with just the right amount of sweetness.One of my favorite things about Sodastream Diet Cola is how well it works in mixed drinks. I'm a big fan of bourbon, and the light, fizzy taste of the cola adds a fun twist to my favorite whiskey cocktails. I don't have to worry about all the added sugar that comes with regular soda, so I can indulge in my drinks without any guilt. Really love that I can make myself a little fresh soda without having to run to the store

To us, the Soda Stream Diet Cola tastes like a sugar Coke. Even my wife is loving it. A lifetime Diet Coke drinker, she is actually switching to the Soda Stream Diet Cola. On flavor alone, five stars. Highly recommended.Two caveats, more caffeine and less fizz.First, more than 60 mg of caffeine in 12 oz of the Diet Cola syrup versus 42 mg in 12 oz. of Diet Coke. This can be a positive for many, but it can limit how much you drink. I discovered the caffeine the hard way. I drink from a 40 oz Yeti. That made for a jittery day with a lot side trips. Now, I limit my consumption of Diet Cola syrup. The Diet Root Beer syrup is an excellent caffeine free alternative. Not sure that all this syrup is healthy, MIO drops give me the flavor without thinning out the water.Second, the carbonation in commercial beverages seems more satisfying and lasts longer. Used to flavoring with MIO drops, I was surprised that I was adding so much syrup to the Soda Stream water. That much flat syrup seems to water down the carbonation. The Soda Stream water seems to go flat quickly anyway; adding the syrup seems to accelerate the flattening.Here’s an idea for Soda Stream: Reduce the amount of water you add to the syrup. Adding flat water to carbonated water seems counter productive.

I got a sample of this when I bought my machine, and remember it tasted fine back then. I typically order the diet Pepsi flavor, but these were on sale so I figured it'd give them a go. Doesn't taste like a remember, has a very sour taste like an artificial lemon taste. You also have to pour them in slowly because unlike any other flavoring I've used these cause the soda water to fizz like crazy. I wouldn't recommend these and will not buy them again, you'd be better off buying Shasta or another discount soda than these.

My local grocery store stopped selling Sodastream products, so I ordered my syrup here. The first 3 bottles in this pack were just fine.The fourth bottle, however, tasted like someone had mixed some kind of household cleaner with the syrup. I dumped that glass and smelled the syrup in its bottle. I could smell the cola syrup, but there was also a distinct smell of something like Windex. I have no idea what happened with that bottle, but I'm not drinking more of it. I got out a didn't bottle of diet cola syrup of a different brand and used that instead.I like the deal here, so I'll probably buy again, but I'll be checking all of the bottles right away next time.
