Kurt Adler 10 Light Indoor Rattan Gold Star Treetop

This product doesn’t stand up very well with the tree stand. It came with some cheap looking tree stand. It did not work for my tree the star would not stand up and it didn’t even match the color of my tree. I do love the look of the product, so I grabbed a light brown hair clip and used it to clip to the tree which solved my problem! The cord is also a light brown color, if it’s the first thing you put on your tree and tuck into it then you won’t even notice the cord. I had to attach an extension cord to it because the cord is not that long either. So I give it four stars for the short cord and the stand attachment.

I liked this topper. It looks nice, doesn’t have all the fluff that the new choppers have with the projecting and hologram-ing! Like some of the other reviewer‘s, my husband had to rig the base to stay upright. He used some of the wires from the lights that were on the tree and then he cut a tree branch and secured it up so you can’t see the base, which doesn’t really match. Pictures attached.Looks nice on the tree!

Love this tree star - it lights up beautifully and is the perfect size for our 7foot tree. Extension cord is a tan color (not sure why they didn’t make it green to blend with the tree??). I love it so much, but it’s very delicate and the branches can break easily. Also, the tree topper green plastic part to place the topper onto the tree is completely useless because the star will not stand alone with this piece of plastic; it will just fall over. Get those green or any dark colored zip tie. One zip tie worked for us. Love the rustic look with a hint of shine/glamour from the gold spray paint!

this is a great star but I wish that I knew it was covered in gold glitter. I don't like having products that have glitter and also I wanted the natural look and didn't really pay attention to the fact that the title had the word "gold" in it which is my fault. So as long as you don't mind the gold glitter this is a great product for the price.

I love this star for a tree topper. It is a rustic take on the traditional star, and matched my decor perfectly. The one downside? It's HEAVY. Even if I fold over branches to stick it onto in order to give it a more sturdy base, it leans. Neither I nor my boyfriend could get it to stand up straight without bending one way or another. Not a huge deal, because we like it so much anyways we get over it, but just something to be aware of! I also have an artificial tree, so it may work better on a real tree.

Beautiful star BUT the part to attach it to the tree is a no go, found another review who suggested to use zip ties when I was about to send it back. Boom more secure than the previous one and think this might be a new great hack especially with a new crazy kitten swinging our 6.5’ artificial tree everywhere.

The lights on the first star I received stopped working after a week for some reason. Luckily Amazon was able to send me a replacement right away and I had 30 days to return the broken one which was nice because the holidays can get busy and I still had a star on my tree! Overall, the only good thing about this is that it's pretty. The mechanism, or lack there of, for putting this star up sucks. It includes a plastic funnel-like piece that goes on the top branch, but the plastic piece is about 2-2.5 inches long and not only looks bad but does not support the weight of the star so it does not sit straight. I ended up just shoving the top branch of my (fake) tree into the star itself, which didn't look amazing but was definitely better than the alternative. My wife and I purchased this same star roughly 16 years ago for our 1st Christmas tree and it's our annual tradition. Unfortunately, the lights finally went out and we were crushed not knowing how we would swap out the lights due to the unique style of the star and length of cord used. Miraculously, all these years later we found this star and were shocked to learn after ordering it that it is indeed the same one that we purchased 16 years ago. Visually, it almost looks like the star has a crown of thorns around it, which we love. Great quality! Highly recommend it!
