Cruiser Accessories 20730 Twisted Chrome License Plate Frame

I have a silver 2010 Toyota Matrix sport in great condition. . classy gunmetal 10 spoke rims, tinted windows, blue indoor lights, you get the idea. However, one day after having her fully serviced, I noticed that the white plastic frame around my license plate was indeed an ugly- fugly yellow faded color. . .and after that day, I became very observant of ALL cars. After seeing many beautiful/newish looking cars with an ugly license plate frame I realized that it took away from the rest of the car's beauty. As a girl who loves a completed look, I made it my goal to find the perfect frame for my back plate frame and waa la...I found the cruiser accessories frames (auto parts stores' inventory sucks). When I saw this twist frame I thought I'd order it even though I though it could turn out too flashy as I prefer settle-semi gloss accessories for my matrix, but the price was too good to pass.*The frame came within the estimated time, nicely packaged and all. It feels pretty sturdy as others have mentioned on here. I immediately put it on and definitely saw a difference in the back view of my matrix.*Let me just say that my car carries this twist frame well because it has chrome directly above where the hatchback release exists, plus my back/side lights are still extremely new looking mainly because I have sheltered parking...so everything glistens nicely. I've even been asked if just bought my car....ands it's 3 years old :)*I suggest you place this twist frame on back plate, and a simple-smooth chrome one in front and not the other way around. I tried it and quickly changed it back, but it's up to you. Lastly, this frame has the perfect amount of shine and design. It worked well with my screws.Tip: For the front plate, if you still want to keep the thick black/white dealer frame thing (as it works as a barrier) along with this twist frame on back, spray paint it a shade close to your car's color so it blends/disappears!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this item. The frame is sturdy and appears to be well made. Frankly, I was expecting something much flimsier for the price. One thing that should be mentioned is that you need to purchase the fasteners (they come to fit either import or domestic cars) and the screw covers if so desired. I have yet to receive this shipment but will update my review once everything is in hand and the plates are on my car. Only four stars because I don't yet know whether the frames actually fit. I hope so because they really are very attractive. Upgrade to five stars.Update: It's been nearly a year since I purchased these frames and they look as good today as the day I installed them. They've held up beautifully and lend a nice polish and sophistication to my car. I couldn't ask for a better product. Regarding the fasteners and screw covers, someone asked me why I recommended the 81330 instead of the 81230 (which has received better reviews). They commented that the 81330 was too long. I purchased the 81330 because the description says it is for imported cars while the 81230 is for domestic cars. Since I have a Lexus, the 81330 seemed like the way to go at the time. I haven't read the reviews lately but the 81330 fit my car beautifully and I had no issues.

Decent product. Nice looking frame, granted wish had read the description better. Bought for a motorcycle and after receiving it discovered it's for a full size vehicle. No bother though because it's gonna look nice on my truck instead lol. Definitely recommend buying

I saw this frame online, and really liked it, so I ordered one. To my surprise, it arrived early AND is waaaay better than I originally thought. The picture and description doesn't do it justice. It's solid, sturdy and very shiny. I mean mirror-ish chrome shiny. I absolutely love it. Hats off to the designer and manufacturer. I purchased this plate holder over 2 years ago and it still looks amazing. For the money, you can't go wrong. I wanted something a little shiny and blingy to match the chrome details on my car so purchased screw caps with single large "diamonds" to go along with it. Absolutely beautiful without being overly flashy. If you are looking for mostly plain chrome frame but with some style, this is it!

Looks nice here, but a little too shiney. I've had it a long while, and it has bent quite a lot. Dont like dealers license plate holders, but they are a whole lot stronger and keep looking good. You buy nuts or bolds for this plate holder...the covers for the nuts fell off quickly also. Not a best purchase.

This was an impulse buy for me. It looked shiny, so I bought it. And I'm quite happy with it. It's been on my car for a few weeks now and it makes the whole rear end look much more interesting.The twisted metal design is gorgeous, and the whole thing has a good weight to it, so it's not cheaply made as far as I can tell. It installed in less than 3 minutes, and it looks great. I'm considering buying another for the front license plate!

I wanted something that had "bling" to it, but not overly girly as my husband sometimes drives my vehicle. This looks great on my Toyota Rav. If you are looking for something unique, with bling, but not girly, this fits the bill. My husband is ok with it. It is also sturdy and not flimsy. Sometimes these plate holders are flimsy; not this one.

These look absolutely amazing on my white Toyota Tacoma truck. I get so many compliments as they changed the look for my truck so much. I can't recommend them enough! They look exactly as ordered. Thanks so much!

Good price and seems sturdy. Screws and cap covers would have been a good finishing touch, but are not included.

I brought this plate to spice of the chrome on my car and it ended up looking better than the chrome on my car. I just bought a second one.
