If you like decorative ornaments in your garden then this one is ideal. I am not saying that a bird would not likely nest in it, but it is much more decoative than practical for bird nesting, in my opinion. I find it to be very cute and is a talking point in the garden with guests and children. The curtains are fabric but might be coated so will last a year or two. The rest of the unit is very sound and well made. I would recommend this for those that like a bit of fun in the garden. I love it.

Very cute, a bit bigger than expected and only a small door at the rear. I'm not using it as a bird house but decor for a caravan and wanted to put tissues inside. Quite expensive for a basic build but I was buying it for cuteness, which it has.
