Wow...
Well, what can I say...the thing is sensational. I play this through a Blackstar HTV 212 cab Blackstar HTV-212 2x12 Speaker Cab and for a 20 watt hybrid amp that cost me less than £100...there is no comparison. Had a few problems and had to send off to Orange for a new unit, but nothing is ever perfect. However, when I received the new unit and was really able to use it, i was blown away by what this head does. Normally i would shy away from things like this...but if you need anything from a stocking filler to a spare head to gig with...actually you don't need an excuse...BUY ONE. Sparkly cleans and filthy drive tones that, after a bit of tweaking, sound like they're worth £100 more than you pay.

Blown away
All of the reviews raved about the Micro terror but I was still surprised. Its so small that I cant believe all the noise that comes out of it - truly is a portable device. I have played it through my 2 x 12 Marshall cabinet and my Sennheiser headphones and its sounds great through either. With drive turned down its good and clean. With drive up its rough and bluesy / rocky. I spent two weeks thinking "should I or shouldnt I?". A few times my cursor hovered over the 'one click' to buy it. One time I got too close and the truth is I clicked by mistake - it was fate. Absolutely no regrets. Treat yourself. Alan.

astonishing!
What can I say! I'm playing this little beast plugged into a Marshall 1912 cab and its a monster! very nice heavy rock voice and very loud for its size, it might just be possible to use in a rehearsal with a quiet drummer! good for recording and with the gain down and volume up it's cleanish....but much happier roaring at full tilt. I can wholeheartedly reccomend this thing! try it out, for the money you wont be disapointed!

Awesome, punches well above its weight!
I recently bought this amp as a practice amp for use in the home, after using for a week or so, I would consider using this as a back up amp for a gig, it's really loud!!!The tone adjustment is a bit limited, but the power this little beast has more than makes up for it. If your looking for a small amp, then this without doubt, is the one to get.

Tiny Powerhouse
This amp is awesome! My son bought this and has it hooked up to two Ashdown 10 speakers - it is LOUD!Fantastic range of tone and sustain for your money.Classic Orange styling and good build quality.Loud enough for small pub gigs and band practise sessions.Cant find a downside after using it for a month.

awesome distorted rich rock sound
This is simply awesome, it provides a rich, sustained, naturally distorted sound as the gain is past 9 o'clock. I ran it with gain at 12, volume between 1 and 2 and I could fill up the living room (glasses were moving in a cabinet, no kidding). I do not need any distortion effect in front, I will use it with a reverb pedal only. It is unbelievably small, and the looks are great too. I had not problem with the power supplier as mentioned by the other reviewer.Greatly recommended. To be noted I use it with the Orange cabinet made for it.

Looks Great, Sounds Great ( With New Power Supply )
I owned one of these for 30 minutes before taking it back to the shop for a refund. The build quality is excellent and it looks fabulous but there is very high pitch noise above the music sound which gets louder as you turn up the volume or gain until it unbearable, it drowns out the music. Turn the volume knob above 2 and the noise gets very noticable, above 5 forget the music . I thought it was the guitar being a single coil but it was the same with a humbucker. You can feel some sort a static \ electric charge \ sensation through the stings and bridge of your guitar. Touch the strings and bridge and the noise goes down. A shame really as it sounds great when the volume knob is at 1 or below. I did try another micro terror amp in the shop using the shops own guitar and 4 x 12 cabinet with the same result.UpdateI complained to Orange and they sent a replacement power pack to the shop if I would like to try again. I have now tested the micro terror with the new power pack and the fault \ problem is now fixed. The amp now sounds fantastic, clear bright tones at low gain and a lovely growl at high gain. For a small amp it belts out alot of noise, good noise this time. If you have a power pack that has the four way adaptors it may be worth getting it replaced. This now a five star amp. It's a bargain.
