DCF Plain Natural Cream 100% Cotton Fabric 150cm Wide per metre

I used this for a quilt backing and binding and it is ideal. Very easy to work with. Soft and nice feel but also substantial enough. It has a kind of raw calico appearance. Easy to iron but it retains a bit of a crinkled appearance - sounds unattractive but it is actually a nice finish.

Like: There is nothing to like not even the basic delivery time!!Disliked: The fabric The fabric quality, I disliked because it was like calico. Although cotton this fabric is calico cotton.I had disliked this fabric had bought to make a skirt which this fabric is very unstable.Calico CottonWhich is calico fabric which dressmakers use for draping and samples and then throw away!

This fabric was perfect for the back of cushions and lining shopping bags, it was much thicker than I thought it would be, I would highly recommend it. I have ordered more as I will definitely use it for many projects in the future. Very reasonably priced, excellent product.

Overall this calico will be ok to use for the purpose required of it.

This is rather a coarse calico but suitable for lining cushions and bags. Had it beem finer, I would have used it in patchwork but am going to have to source that elsewhere.I washed it befpre use and there was only a lttle shrinkage, which was good. So this is a good fabric, just not for finer work.

I've just received the fabric. Even though it doesn't say 'calico' in the info section or heading, I trusted the image which clearly looks like calico, however the product you'll receive will be nothing like calico if you've used them before. This is slightly more drape-able than calico.This is more like a spotless cream curtain lining, and from a short distance it's almost cotton sateen-ish. If you're looking for a cloth like calico to make test garments then don't get this. Since I've got 10 metres of it I'll just use it as my shirt testing fabric.On the plus side this could be a suitable fabric for a rank beginner to start learning to sew. It also holds the crease when you press it with your thumb.I knew the price was too good to be true but still went ahead. I never learn.

It is a good quality and light weight however when ironed it becomes fairly stiff! Delivery was slow to arrive.

Having read the negative comments, after ordering, I was concerned but I have to say. Top notch at at a great price. I wanted it for making soft toys and it’s perfect. I’ll definitely be buying more. Fantastic price.
