Kingfisher Victorian Station Style Garden Clock

This was a birthday gift last August. The overall quality is quite acceptable, although there was some initial concern over whether the case would fit snugly enough to be waterproof. So far, however, it has remained dry inside, and has not yet needed a change of battery. It is a nice design, not too fancy, and looks great on the shed at the allotment. No idea what “sheerness” means, but I gave it 5 stars anyway 🤣

I can not really give a full review as I have bought it for a gift , so I went to put the batteries in and the arm that you fix to the wall was bent , luckily my husband managed to straighten it , the box did seem to me that it had been open before,so maybe someone sent it back ,other than that it looks lovely.

The clock is nice but it’s very tricky to install as the clock itself is in the way when you’re trying to screw the bracket onto the wall! It’s the manufacturers fault, not the sellers. We got there in the end after a few swear words! The clock does look lovely. I keep saying to my partner, when we’re in the garden, “ask me the time” hahaha!! I’m sure the novelty will wear off eventually haha!! Fingers crossed it’s waterproof.

Looks fine - but unfortunately doesn't keep time as is patently obvious by leaving the clocks to run for a few days and then looking at the hugely innacurate and different times on both of them!Yes I was using fresh batteries.

The overall look of the clock is good, it took some working out to fix it to the wall but I eventually got it up only to find that one of the clocks doesn’t work, the hands on the face are loose and just spin round. We now have the broken clock facing the wall which is a shame but after the effort of mounting it I couldn’t face taking it down to return it.

i bought this clock to replace a similar one given to us some 5 years back which rusted out!This Station Clock has a larger face, and so has a clearer dial.Someone mentioned that the fixing bracket was not sturdy enough, we found it to be perfectly OK.From ordering the clock, taking delivery and fixing it to our stone wall, it has been simply a dream.So nothing to add...........if you want a repro clock and are happy with it having a Paddington station mark on the dial, then go for it!

Very satisfied. We have it indoors in the corner of a passageway. I cut the top off with a hand grinder. Looks and works beautiful.

Qualitativ absolut in Ordnung.Beide Uhrwerke benötigen je eine AA Batterie und laufen unabhängig voneinander. Das Einlegen der Batterien ist Sekundensache.Zwei Bohrungen am Gestell dienen der Befestigung der Uhr an der Wand. An die obere Bohrung kommt man schlecht heran, da der Uhrenkasten gerade an dieser Stelle dem Rahmen am nächsten kommt. Der Uhrenkasten ist zwar horizontal um 360° frei drehbar, viel gewonnen ist dadurch allerdings nicht. Aber: Man kann ganz leicht den Uhrenkasten komplett aus der Halterung nehmen, indem man die obere Halterung nach oben drückt. Die Halterungen sind mit dem Uhrenkasten nämlich nicht verschraubt, sondern sind nur mit je einem Stift in den Kasten eingesteckt. Jetzt hat man genügend Raum für die Verschraubung.An einer hellen Wand wirkt die Uhr noch schöner als an der dunklen Wand im Foto des Angebots.
