3M LittmannLightweight II S.E. Stethoscopes, Black Tube, 28 inch, 2450

I have been wanting one of these for years, they are close to being the Rolls Royce of stethoscopes. Thankfully they don't cost as much! The nursing stethoscope is slightly less expensive than some of the doctors Littmann's but what makes this so good for us is the shape of the head. Being egg shaped it fits snugly under BP cuffs compared to the usual round ones. The build quality of the Littmann is also far superior than that of your usual "cheapie" stethoscope you buy from web sites,and available in some funky colours now as well. That aside make sure you get it labelled because it's the sort of kit that can "grow legs" and walk!!If you want to do a proper job (and I do)! (..I work in a specialist Cardiac Hospital) you need a proper piece of kit. Unfortunately the NHS doesn't buy this sort of stuff anymore so we have to buy our own, but with quality like this it lasts for years.Sonically the diaphragm (high / low frequency options) are superb, pick up is exceptional, my audiophile engineer husband was astounded at the pick up & clarity, he sat attentively listening to various aspects of his body, hearing plenty that he'd not experienced before with my old "bog-standard" stethoscope, ...i'm actually glad the pup rummaged around in my work bag & destroyed the old one as this is of infinitely better quality & durableWorth every penny ...& more.

This is a qualty product, as it is the budget end of litmann, This nursing steph ostaltates great sound for what i use it for as a emergency tech EMT and the ear buds dont come off as it is in and out of my trouser pocket all day long, you will not go wrong with this steph, any one who is starting out as Emt, Para and Nurse. I highly recommend this stephoscope

So not only was the product faulty there was a tear/split to the diaphragm which affects the sound quality and creates discomfort in the ear as the air goes through the lead and into the canal (feels like pressure on a plane) the actual outer casing of the original box was sellotaped the whole way around causing the box to peel away which took the information away with it... (On the back)Personally I like to keep my medical equipments original box's & preferably a undamaged one. The box stays closed on its own (like a Christmas card box that slots inside) there's no need for Amazon to sellotape it.Amazon agreed to replace... The actual product without faults is perfect for Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Nursing Students. Essential for learning manual blood pressures as the audio is high quality for even the faintest of BP's

Quick delivery. As a student nurse working on wards that all use manual Blood pressure machines this is an excellent quality stethoscope to hear when the quietest BP's. Worth paying the money for to get an accurate reading every time on the first attempt meaning less discomfort for the patient. The shape of the head is perfect for sliding under the cuff and does not drag on the skin. Lovely colour. Perfect for what I needed it for

I had lost my expensive littmann well the docs pinched it . Little buggers. But this stethoscope is excellent value for money the quality is as you should expect from a littmann . The colour is lovely aswell so everyone can see its mine haha. Well worth the money very pleased is an understament. A must have for any nurse without the need to spend 100pound plus for a full littmann. Perfect for nurses.

I love these stethoscopes but on this occasion I was sent the black one when I ordered the burgundy. I needed it in a hurry so can’t afford to send it back and wait for another.

Love this, so easy to use and carry around with me in my pocket. Sounds are very clear. Good for the price compared to some of the other products. Does the same job and good for money. Defiantly recommend
