Rolson 61299 127 pc Heat Shrink Wrap Assortment

I ordered 2 boxes before wiring up all my car audio as there was to be many soldered wires that needed covering. The heat shrinks worked absolutely perfectly, they were sized for every wire's needs and shrank in seconds when using a heat gun. Also cooled pretty quickly and had a nice rubberised texture after they were heated and cooled.Extremely useful if you do lots of soldering and get fed up of sticking tape round joints all the time and have it fall off ina months time!!

I’ve always worn metal frames specs, and never previously reacted to them. However a few months ago I started reacting badly to them. Made me itchy and developed small rash each side of face and near ears.Not due at optician to renew/replace my specs for a while, so extremely reluctant to waste huge amounts of money changing to plastic armed specs before due to change! I also don’t suit plastic specs and prefer the lightweight metal type.My husband had previously had similar issues, and he’d painted on a clear nail varnish. It helped, but needed reapplying regularly as it peeled off.I bought these sleeves as they were cheap and thought worth trying!They were extremely easy to use. Slip them on, half a minute with hot hairdryer and va-voom, job done!I’ve now put them on my prescription sunglasses too!I’m delighted. I’ve have the sleeves on my specs now for about a month and they’ve not moved at all.I’ll continue to get nice lightweight metal frames that I like, and simply shrink wrap the arms with these sleeves.I’m going to look around to see if I can buy coloured sleeves, but if not I’m happy enough with black sleeves rather than heavier plastic frames or a sore face!

I ordered this as it was the cheapest set on amazon and didnt know what size would be suitable. i used 6 of them on a project and have worked great and have saved me money trying and buying other brands. I would buy again although cannot comment on how good they would for use with electrical applications and health and safety standards etc. The reason I give four stars and not 5 was that they were advertised as the rolson set 61299 but once arrived were not branded.

When I first ordered this product it was delivered very quickly within a couple of days, The only problem was it was the wrong item (Sent me a box of fuses by mistake). It then took approximatly a month to sort the error out although the company did finally send the right item and refunded my postage the whole process was just very inefficient. I had to send several e-mails including a photo of the incorrect item (God knows why), The return postage was nearly as much as the item cost in the first place. And did not include the cost of having to re-package it. I also had to keep sending e-mails to enquire when the correct item would be delivered. If they had turned round and said keep the fuses free as it was our mistake and we will send you the correct item ASAP they may have even saved some money and I would have been a lot happier but we got there in the end.As for the actual heat shrink I am very happy a very good selection of sizes at a decent price cannot fault them.

Have used a few of these and they work as advertised.Storage box contains a very good selection of different 'tubes'.It must be noted that they shrink to approx 50-60% of their original size, including in length, so this needs to be taken into consideration when choosing the diameter and length of the tubing. When heat is applied (I used a 1500W Hot Air Gun on its lower setting), this should be applied as evenly as possible, e.g. by rotating the wire or moving the air gun around the item). Excessive heat should be avoided as it will render the plastic brittle and/or may damage other components.5* for an excellent product.

As my title - this does the job, and is useful to have around. Its not the best heatshrink, but hey it is great value for money and perfect for little odd areas that need covered up when wiring. 3 stars is really because (a) it isn't great quality and as a consequence (b) the shrinkage isn't consistent even using a heat gun & can look messy (although most times who cares right!); but I'm happy with it for my needs and the low cost!!

They seem fine ,used them a few times and no problems would buy them again.

Used it on the cable from the motor on my e-bike to keep the rain out. Did the job brilliantly. I used a lighter to melt it on.

Per tutti quei lavori di elettrica/elettronica dove le guaine termorestringenti aiutano a tener saldi i cavi e al contempo dare anche un "tocco" di professionalità al lavoro che si va a fare.Varie misure dalle più piccole a quelle più grandi, l'unica nota forse dolente è la quantità che va diminuendo man mano che aumentano le dimensioni del diametro delle guiane.

Buenas fundas retráctiles ideal para tapar los empalme de los cables, muy buena presentación en el blíster separador por medidas, las medidas normales de uso, vienen dos mas grandes que probablemente no use, hacen bien su funcionamiento a pesar de que leí en comentarios que no retraían bien , a mi si me han funcionado y ya he puesto varias, solamente hay que comprobar bien el tamsño , llego bien embalado y a tiempo

Pas de souci particulier, le nombre et la qualité comme annoncé. Bon produit et pas chère et bien rangé pour le petit +.Vous pouvez prendre les yeux fermés.
