I wore this for a gold event where I needed to dress like Marilyn. It worked out so perfect and such a great price.

Thanks to AMASON REVIEWS, I was able to buy the right size for me, plus I knew to get an inexpensive half slip. I perform at senior communities, so I don’t want to sport this dress without a bra. I bought an inexpensive white halter bikini top (ALSO ON AMAZON), to wear under it.I think it all came together pretty successfully, AND AFFORDABLY.

I wasn’t sure if the medium would fit - I am 4’8” and curvy at 130lb but it’s perfect: sheer skirt means I needed a white slip (as suggested by other reviewers) but at first try on it looks great. Being a halter I won’t be wearing a bra and looked a little flat (I am a 36B) but I just used a few bra inserts I had laying around for my summer dresses and voila! Instant buxom look without a bra. Comfy too. Excited to put all the elements together and pull off the Marilyn look this Halloween and can see myself wearing this again at other fancy dress parties to accompany my hubby as Elvis. Found a Marilyn wig on amazon and some pearl/diamonds earrings. Got a vintage satin/bling purse From Goodwill, pearl bracelet, and will don some false eyelashes and Beauty spot plus red lipstick to complete this classic look. Definitely think this is worth the money for what it is and pleasantly surprised that the dress fits so well given my hard to fit size and shape. Love it! I would say the sizing it a little on the larger side which is why I ended up ordering the medium and it’s perfect for me: flattering and adjustable with the halter straps. Thanks!

When I received the dress I noticed that it was good quality material for a costume and was excited to try it on. The dress is definately cute and figure flattering. However, the skirt is very see-through which could probably be fixed w/ white or nude shorts underneath. But the biggest disappointment was the material in the bust/nipple area had a weird "puckering" which makes the breasts look cone shaped and very odd. Mabe a large busted woman might be able to fill it out more and make it appear less cone shaped,i'm not sure. If I were good with a sewing machine I might have tried to fix it but alas I am not a seamstress and had to return the dress and come up with a new costume idea. Bummer

This review is based on using it for a Halloween costume or dress up costume. I would not recommend this for any other type of event.That being said, The dress was very flattering and comfortable! I’m a thick girl and I felt great in it. I did have to wear a slip underneath because it was so thin/see through. I was unable to wear a bra under it but the support was great (I’m a DD/DDD).I got an XL.

This costume dress is a great deal for the price. It fits great and is very comfortable. It is a little longer than I expected but is still quite sexy. Many women's costumes run very small and are quite restricting. This dress is stretchy and will be perfect for dancing the night away at a costume party! The quality is quite good for the price. It is a nice material and feels soft. It does not come with any built in bra cups so you will definitely need to either sew some in or have q scooping strapless bra to solve that issue as the fabric will show everything if you don't.

This is an absolutely beautiful dress. I wore it to a party last weekend and it was a real hit. I am 5'6 and weigh 118 and the Small size fit perfectly. The neckline was a little too low for me, but I sewed it up about an inch and my strapless bra was covered perfectly. Although the tags said to spot clean it only, I got some makeup on it and I machine washed it in cold water and hung it to dry and it cleaned it perfectly with no problems whatsoever. I love it so much that I wish that I had enough nerve to wear it other than Halloween. I did wear Spanx under it because it was a little see-through and that was fine.
