Middle School Science: Key Concepts, Practice, and Quizzes Workbook (Grades 6-8)

I am so disappointed in this text. I made the mistake of not checking the author's qualifications. The author isn't a scientist. I had my child working independently through the text, but he kept asking for help as the content wasn't making sense. I looked up the information on the internet and saw where the text errors were. We kept going as I thought it was just one mistake. Then the same thing happened the next day. My husband looked at the content and saw a lot of inaccuracies as well. The publisher should have hired a content editor. I ended up throwing this book in the garbage. Now I am off to buy from a more qualified author.
