The only problem with these is that all the pictures of them makes them look like they are a bright white, but they are not. I think if I had seen than in person, I would not have purchased them. If that doesn’t bother you, they are very well-made.

As I have just purchased a brand new white breakfast table and 6 chairs, these fruit placemats will be very nice on the new table.

This is my second set. I had the flower print potmerion before. Compare to Lenox’s place mats I had before, which were thinner and more paper like textured, Pimpernel is more water-resistant and absolves less oils. I think it is easier to clean and to preserve its original condition. The only thing I didn’t like from the first purchase was the smell, but it went away in a few day. This one had no odor like that.

Here's the thing. I almost didn't get this set because the grapes just didn't look as interesting as the other 3 fruits... all washed out green and without a name underneath! Well, the actual grapes placemat is much nicer than pictured in the ad, with more red shading, and of course the matching name. Still, why not use one of the other 3 fruits pictured in the coaster set? They are all so lovely!

Out of the box they are great. Using them with any dribbling liquids causes the edges to absorb and discolor the top surface. Disappointing.

We haven't used them yet so it is hard to write a truthful review. They were delivered on time and with care. They are beautiful and hope to use them soon.

These are wonderful. They’re the same top quality I remember.

These mats are very solid and attractive. They look like they will last well.
