7mm Polycarbonate Roof Panel kit for Gazebo - 10x12

I had a 10 x 12 Gazebo from Sears and the panels were rotted out. I need to get new ones but Sears no longer had them available...SHOCKER! These are better than the originals by far. They do require some trimming to get the length right depending on the type of dividers you have between the top and bottom panels, but it's supper easy to do and these puppy's fit SUPER TIGHT! Over all, couldn't be happier and hope these will be around when it's time to change them out again!!!!

We purchased these in the Fall, but with colder temps coming and winter only a few months out, we decided to store them in our basement in the original packaging. We installed these panels in our gazebo in the Spring and only 3 months later, holes started appearing in the panels. We wrote to the seller who was very rude and of no help to us. They tried to blame hail - which we did not have any hail in the 3 months we had the panels on and then they said it was because of having heat from a fire in the gazebo - are you kidding me? It is not safe to have a fire in your gazebo! The set of panels we received obviously are defective, hence while holes started appearing for no reason. The seller would only offer us 10% off a new set. First of all, we spent almost $400 on panels that are no good. And only offering 10% off was ridiculous. This isn't good customer service at all. When I wrote back and asked for a new set (which we really were reluctant to try a new set) or preferably a full refund, the seller stopped communicating with me. And when I kept asking, they were very rude and again just dropped me and refused to help. Just to note, the original roof panels on our gazebo lasted for many many years and through harsh winters and the only reason we decided to replace them because they were becoming brittle from the sun. So it' obvious that the panels we received were defective and we fell the seller should have backed their product, given us much better customer service and worked with us on a refund or a new set of panels. So now we are out $400 and my husband's time of taking out the old panels and installing the new. I have continued to try and get some resolve with whoever I could think of and no one will help us.

These panels were the correct sizes (width x length), but the thickness of the panels was too thick. I struggled trying to install the first panel and finally came the realization that they were just too thick for the slotted metal inserts. I had to take a 4" grinder with a diamond blade on it and cut about a 1/2" depth into both ends of the panel so the ends would give enough to slide into the metal slots. Once I tested this technique on the first panel and had success, I did this on all the panels and was able to install with relative ease. I wasn't about to send these panels back and try to find another set with a smaller thickness. Once I got them installed, they look great and the first rain proved they are working fine.

The panels were a little bit thicker than the damaged ones take out but we figured it out and got all the panels in where they belong. Looks great.

They matched the manufactured panels that originally came with my gazebo. Very Happy!

A pain to install but definitely worth it after the hail damages product was exactly as described and shipping was expedient
