Great set, very helpful.
Nice set. Mine had magnets on all pieces, and actually included a T-Square that wasn't shown in the picture. Great deal. Regarding the compass... yes, it is a little shaky... I haven't had great success with it just yet. Make sure you don't lose the marker grip... mine was still in the box as I was trying to figure out how to attach a marker, and why it had a sharp metal point there.

They get the job done and that is what we needed.

good enough
The only part I have had problems with is the compass, there is no way to put even a thin whiteboard marker to draw a circle, and the suction cup also does not work well. All the other tools work great and the handles make the tools stable on a whiteboard or chalk board.

Great tool for Geometry demo
Great for geometry. I used this to help my son visualize problems while teaching him Geometry. Works perfectly.

Great Tools Priced for Teachers
These are invaluable for teaching Geometry. They don't have magnets like the expensive ones, but I can take care of that and still stick to a teacher's budget.

It's okay...but not what I expected.
I naturally assumed that this set would be magnetized since I've never seen a set that was not!. The "rubber" backing plates are super hard and make the tools impossible to hold steady on any whiteboard surface due to friction slippage. I had to remove all of them (easy to do, thankfully) but now I am faced with finding some magnetic tape that is strong enough to hold the tools to a whiteboard surface. I bought some at an office supply store, but it's strength is insufficient to hold onto any steel surface. I will keep trying. I guess I probably should have shelled out the money for the premium set with magnets and be done with it, but no matter...
