Tangpan Turtleneck Classic Straw-Rope Pro Pet Dog Sweater Apparel (Dark Blue,M)

The dog I purchased this for is a 17 lb half-dachshund who is recovering from having a cyst removed from his back. A cone large enough to keep him from being able to lick or chew his incision would make it difficult for him to get around, so having an old novelty Christmas sweater for him, I put it on and he left his wound alone. Ordered this one and it came quickly and fits really well on him. Ordered more colors. The green one came next. It fits identically to the red one and is really nice - soft, stretchy, stays in place, is clearly comfortable for him. The baby blue one came today and the knit pattern is different and it is much, much smaller and less stretchy. It is clearly uncomfortable on him, and I am returning that one. There is a pink one that will come later and I hope it is made like the red and the green one, and NOT like the baby blue one. From earlier reviews, I suspect the baby blue one is back inventory from before they changed the fabric to be stretchier - also the knit on the underside is done differently. The stretchier ones are ribbed, although not cable ribs, on the underside - while the non-stretchy, smaller baby blue one is plain knit (no ribs) on the underside. Also received a red size L today for his brother (they're littermates) who is taller, broader, and weighs 27 lbs. It fits fine and is clearly from the same stretchier fabric with the ribbed underside. Also ordered some extras in different colors for him, and hope they are the newer, stretchier design as well.

I bought three of these...one for a small Yorkie and two for toy poodles...in size small. These are very well made and of high quality. Fits the dogs well around their neck and torso. The leg openings are further down on the sweater than they should be to fit my dogs perfectly so the sweater tends to ride up and kind of bunch around the shoulder area. Not a deal-breaker but the sweater doesn't lie down any of my dogs' backs like in the photo. If the leg openings were slits instead of holes it would allow the sweater to adjust a bit and 'customize' to each dog a little better. Because the sweaters are of such high quality I will do some snipping and sewing to help them lie better on the dogs' backs.

This product is made out of very good material. Very soft, comfortable, and durable. Be advised to get a size larger than what you need. These sweaters run very small.

I would recommend this sweater. Definitely check the sizing in the description. I ordered a Large for my 12lb shih szu/maltese mix and it fits correctly. This sweater is not made for true medium sized or larger dogs. The material is excellent for the price: not scratchy like 100% wool but a little more heft than 100% cotton; just right. I have tried 2 sweaters on my dog (that he hated) when he was younger and has since outgrown. He is 7 yrs old now. He loves blankets and gets cold easily (Maltese hair.) Since it's time for cold weather season again I thought I'd give the whole sweater thing one more try... success! He did not stand in the middle of the floor looking at me like "Why are you punishing me like this?" Instead, he curled up beside me and went to sleep. No biggie. He's worn it for several hours and has not acted sad or irritated. If your dog does not like sweaters... he/she just might like this one (if it's sized correctly.)

The sweater quality is quite nice, but it runs very small. I ordered a medium, up a size for my 10 lb. Yorkie. It fits fine around the neck and torso, but the length is still very short. If it was a human sweater, I’d call it a crop top!

It fits my larger dog. She is big in the chest and I wasn’t sure it would work. Comfortable too. She likes it!

After reading the reviews I definitely ordedered 2 sizes up (xxl) for my 7 month puppy who is a standard poodle.Positives:-The length fit him well-The quality of the fabric is good for my puppy but definitely is not wool.-The fabric is slightly stretching if you need it to beNegatives-it is extremely loose it hangs off his chest even with all his fur hopefully he will fill it out once he fills out-the neck hole is huge. I will have to take it in once he is fully grown. There is no way he will ever be able to fit it- the leg holes are tiny. I hope his legs don't grow wider. The other reviews say it restricts movement and they are right. For being an xxl I thought the legs would be appropriate size.Overall if you need this quick photo shoot or just want something cute to show your guests it works in a pinch. I wish that it fit more to actually animal sizing instead of toys from build a bear. I would say if you have anything smaller than a behalf this would work but big dogs beware

This is a very cute sweater. Great selection of colors. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I wish the neck was a little smaller/tighter. The extra small, for my 3 1/2 lbs pup, sometimes allows her paw to go through the neck when she’s all curled up. She’s in danger of being hurt but wish I didn’t have to readjust the sweater.
