Painting Watercolour Landscapes the Easy Way - Brush With Watercolour 2

WOW this is truly a "beautiful" book - full of tips and techniques. I do have almost all of Terry's Books, and this is the best one yet to date! It's perfect also for those just beginning to work with watercolor, and great for those old talented soles!It's just jam packed full of wonderful paintings (that you can do) and will want to do.The way Terry uses color really does come through in this beautiful book. I have "a lot" of "How To Watercolor" books and have to say that this one is by far worth the investment. I have made the mistake of buying a Watercolor book based on the few pages shown here and there and not read the reviews that other's are leaving, maybe had I read the reviews I would have saved money (a lot of money).You won't come away disapointed with this one. I like Terry's style of painting because although he leaves enough finished work for you to use your own imagination yet it's not so sloppy as to make one wonder if "an artist" even had an imagination at the time they put their Art and Instruction into print.As in just about anything in the world "Art" is truly in the eye of the beholder, for me Terry's style works and he teaches technique's that are easy for me to follow. I have to say I like Terry's style I have learned so much from him. I love this book it is "beautiful" and easy to learn how to follow what he is doing here..I know that you're going to really like this one it is beautiful and informative!

Well written with great examples and lots of information

This book is chock full of tips, list of supplies, and step by step instructions along with color photos. I have to admit, though, I can't draw for beans and the addition of drawings would have been a BIG plus. So what I've done is trace the finished painting in the book using tracing paper and transfer that onto a piece of copy paper. I then take it to the UPS store and they blow it up for me on a 11 x 17 sheet to fit 1/4 imperial. Granted it's labor intensive, but it works! So, this book can be for beginners or any level IMO. Give this book a try, you won't be disappointed. You'l be amazed at what you can accomplish.

Terry's done it again with clear directions, sumptious photos, and demonstrations that you will want to duplicate for practice and mastery. This book could easily be a painting course all by itself. I recommend anyone interested in mastering watercolor use it to advance your skills.

This is a great painting book. I am advanced painter and use it often to help me get that look that I want from my paintings.

Really enjoyed this book and the wonderful examples of how he creates his effects. It is a visual treat to look at, and he explains many of the things you would want to know. Wished it were much longer as I would have been quite happy to continue exploring his world.

This book is great for beginners

I really enjoyed the illustrations. It is a very good book. Terry Harrison is a brilliant artist. It is a must for anyone, who doesn't have the time to attend Watercolour classes.

Step by step guide very good even for a beginners great book. Had fun with this one. I would recommend it.
