ArtStone 35130 Ella Tall Planter Grey 13.5-inch

The planter is not as advertised, broken at the edge as seen in the picture. I can't find the missing piece inside the package (which arrived in perfect condition) so the planter must have been sent to me like this (?!). This also means that it's not sturdy at all. I'm very disappointed. Don't recommend this item!

As other reviewers have written, these are packaged/shipped horribly. I ordered three of these (I already have the larger ones) and all three were damaged. They were shipped together in a single box with ZERO padding and packaging. Two had huge cracks. All three had bad scratches and scuffs. You'd think they'd get a clue with so many damaged goods being returned! I am now re-ordering each pot individually to see if it helps. If not, I guess I'll be giving my business to Home Depot instead. For those more curious about the "look" of these pots (Ella, Teak color), I really think they're great. I'm pretty picky and they pass my test. They truly mimic the look of corten steel but are lightweight and seem durable.

I love these tall plant containers and have maiden hair ferns planted in them, in the front entry way of my house. I ordered three of them, after our local hardware store ran out. They came packed together, although I took the advice of another reviewer and ordered them separately.... so they would be less likely to crack in transit. I'm happy to say that they were packed in bubble wrap and none of them were cracked.

Beautiful and functional planter. I use this at my vacation home. I particularly like reservoir. It is outside which helps collect any rain water. There is an overflow built in. This allows excess water to drain so you do not drown your plants.

This planter is well made. Not too heavy, not too light. It appears to be made from a plastic resin which has had some stone powder added to make the plastic stiff. Very attractive "slate like" appearance. If I was buying this for use as a planter it would be perfect. The included drainage system in the bottom is a good idea. It arrived in perfect condition.Instead of a planter, I will use this upside down as a pedestal in my garden. I'll modify it to support a "mystical glass ball" which I plan to light from below with a color changing LED spotlight powered by my 12v landscape light system timed to go off and on automatically with darkness. I'm hoping for a cool, somewhat mystical look. Maybe I'll add photo later when completed.

I own several of these planters and have loved them...until now. My most recent purchase was defective and I only learned about it after my plant started dying. Because of the planters self-watering design, there is a long, narrow drainage tube that is built in to the planter. The drainage hole for my planter was incomplete, so instead of draining correctly, my planter has been accumulating water and causing my plant's roots to slowly rot away.It wasn't clogged by soil or debris, the hole would have needed to have been drilled out in order for there to be any drainage. This was an expensive lesson to learn - test the planter to make sure it drains properly before planting.

First one arrived with a chipped corner. Received a replacement, also arrived cracked. It may have helped if they bubble wrapped it, not just boxed. Who knows???

Bought 3 different sizes of what appeared to be the same finish but when received they are all slightly different finishes. One is more “marble” looking than the others. Still kept them because it’s nearly impossible to find square planters right now

Once again the item came with zero protection other than the box. BUT. These are tough planters because it arrived intact........ looks great with a False Aralia in it right next to my Budha statue and both hide the octopus of wires behind them

I have a Pony Tail Palm planted in the planter and it looks great. I have more in different colors coming. But I was shocked it arrived in one piece since it was barely protected; mind you, it arrived within 2 days of ordering so it was close.

The media could not be loaded.  This is the best planter that I’ve ever purchased. Plant stays moist and less watering needed. Looks modern and matches with everything. Very happy with my purchase.

It is a very nice planter however the photo looks more stone-like than actual product.However I am still satified with the purchase!I suggest planting a tall plant!

I like the look of this planter, it resembles stone and is also value for money.
