I was very happy to be able to purchase these 5X3X1 gift boxes in smaller quantities. I've been buying the S-16519 from the big online packaging retailer but I need to buy 300 to get a decent price. Now I can buy the same size box 50 at a time so I'm not storing a lot of cardboard and I don't have as much money tied up in inventory. There's definite value to that.I was a bit disappointed in the quality of these boxes. They're not as nice as the S-16519. The corrugated cardboard is thinner and the cardboard tends to bend rather than folding at the fold lines. I have some folded boxes with curved sides and odd angles. They're not as crush resistant but are apparently good enough for USPS shipping once the boxes are folded and taped closed. I use a 4X6 label to seal the folded boxes.Overall, I'll probably go back to the big online packaging retailer for the S-16519 and live with the need to buy 300 at a time, but it's nice to have this as a quick option. If the price was 30% less, I'd probably buy these. Maybe they could get the price down selling them 100 or 200 at a time?

Good boxes, easy to assemble, but when assembled the tabs on the front don't stay under the flaps that fold over from the side very well. The boxes work, but for safety, I taped across the front corners to hold everything tight.

These are great boxes for shipping products, however out of fifty usually five or so are no all white … partly brown cardboard colored. That’s my only reason for giving a 4 star review.

I don’t ship heavy objects so my review is based on shipping items that are one pound or less.It did take me a minute to get used to the assembly of these specific boxes but that’s only because the previous boxes I used folded differently. Old habits die hard. I’m finally in my groove and would say they are easy to assemble.They are sturdy - especially for the price and I think they look good too.My only complaint would be that this specific bundle was a little too tight and it cut into a few of the boxes. It didn’t affect their functionality, just has a few ugly ones. With that being said the price is too good to really let that affect the purchase. I had previously ordered a different size from this company that was not too tight or damaged in any way. That’s why I’m not taking off any stars - just be aware that a few boxes may (or may not) look a little ugly on the inside.

These are sturdy and sharp looking. I ship homemade chocolates in these boxes and have received all positive feedback. The quality for cost is worth it.

These are great boxes for my tumbler cups and straws. I tape them up and ship them to customers. No complaints.

I am stuck with 50 of them. Tape is required to keep the ends from coming apart after assembly and to hold the lid closed. The ends are difficult to assemble. The slot for the tab that holds the ends together is just a knife cut into the one layer. That tab pops out easily or bends during assembly. When the tab pops out, the box unfolds. I used blue masking tape to wrap the ends.

The design of the securing tabs and front lip is simply substandard. This box doesn't box. its just a flawed design.
