CleverDelights Natural Linen Hemstitched Hand Towels - 6 Pack - 14" x 22" - 100% Linen

These towels are great to embrioder on for a guest bathroom. The quality is great. I have ordered them several time. I have noticed that the color of one package to the next can vary slightly. So if I have a large embirodery order, I have to try and match the colors the best that I can.

Beautiful fabric; excellent hem stitch detail. Towels embroider beautifully. Nice weight fabric. Will definitely re-order!

I bought these towels to embellish with machine embroidery. I also bought raw fabric with the intention of making my own towels. My plan was to compare the two options.When I opened these towels I was awed by the quality of the stitching, rolled stitching and the hemstitching. It would be a lot of work for me to make my hems as beautiful.I washed 5 different fabrics along with these towels and saw no appreciable difference in wrinkling or in pressing. The only improvement on this front would be to use a poly/cotton/linen blend which would defeat the concept of natural fibers and inhibit absorption.I concluded that I would prefer to buy these lovely linens instead of making them myself. When I have pictures to share I will update this review.

I have no complaint against these towels, I bought them to see if this linen would work as well as the pure French linens I use in bread baking. I have not tried them in that capacity yet, but from what I can tell they seem to be nicely made. These are much darker and a lot stiffer, perhaps they will break in (like a new pair of jeans). Or, maybe it has to do with they type or origin of the flax, if only we could know....I am not sure why in the product description it states "Ships from a USA warehouse by a USA-based company". Who cares if it was shipped from a USA warehouse on a USA truck driven on a USA street and delivered to my USA door? The important information is carefully not included, but I can confirm. these are MADE IN CHINA, presumably in a CHINA factory by people breathing CHINA air, and are probably stored in a CHINA warehouse by a CHINA-based company before being handed off to that USA-based company.Just so you know.

I use these for decorative purposes. I give as gifts. I Embroidery designs and saying on them and really don’t mean for them to be “used”. If washed, they need to be washed on a gentle hand wash cycle, lightly dried and then pressed to restore shape.

The towels are ok. I used them to embroider Christmas gifts. The seams are very sloppy on the stitching around the edges of the towel, often missing the edge completely. I do feel the price is quite steep for sloppy mass produced in China towels.

These were purchased for machine embroidery. They are a nice, warm color, and are nicely finished. A little pricey, but good quality. Will buy again in another color.

These came out of the package permacreased. They were faded along their fold lines. I tried to iron them, steam them, wash them, dry on hot, nothing helped. I used them to practice embroidery. They were not absorbent at all and useless as tea towels. I pitched them after they shrunk a ton in the wash and destroyed my embroidery.
