I have a 2019 Honda Civic with the 2L NA engine. This was easy to install. Remember to oil the O-ring and the valve body itself before installing. Don’t over tighten the nut just snug it and check for leaks after install. Honda recommends these being replaced every 30,000 miles. It’s cheap and easy to do.

Easy install on 2015 Honda CR-VIn case you were wondering, this is a genuine Honda PCV valve:• PEC (Pacific Engineering Corp) molded on valve • Part number • Manufacturing batch clocks • Sealed Honda bag If you watch some YouTube videos, they take the plastic cover off the valve cover, however I did not find that necessary.Just use a 10mm socket, and you should be able to remove the bolt holding the PCV valve.I also recommend placing a towel behind the valve cover in case you drop the bolt.Twist the PCV upright, and you should be able to pull it off.Lube the new PCV valve o-rings with fresh oil or recommended lube, and it should just slide in.Although I didn’t need to change the PCV valve, as part of regular maintenance on my 2015 Honda CR-V, and with +140k miles, it was cheap enough to do.I’ve heard some of the symptoms of a bad PCV valve may be excessive oil burning, reduced gas mileage, excessive top end/valve cover vacuum, and even a whistling sound.There are many non-Honda parts you can use on your Honda, however I felt for this part I needed to use the OEM Honda part.The PCV valve spring is calibrated for the correct pressure under different driving conditions to provide the correct bypass.With so many fake and counterfeit Honda parts out there, I’m glad I bought this from a reputable seller.

This is literally a 5 min replacement job on my CRV. I put a little silicone grease on the o-rings and slipped right in. Cinch the retaining bolt down and done. Old pcv valve still rattled like the new valve but replaced it anyway.
