Easy to install, watch out for the water coming out of the hole, since this sensor goes directly into the water. You should open the power box circuit breakers first. There is an insulated foam over it, so you remove that, then just unscrew the black nut holding it in. Be ready to slide in the new one with the black nut already on the wires so you don't lose much water. Tighten the plastic nut, put the insulation back on and route the wires to the control box, then plug it on the board. Reset the breakers and check the temperature display within a minute. Eazy Peezy. I changed this out because the spa would quit heating and display four dashes. I would have to reset the breakers on the power box and that would last a day or so, then quit again. The temperature indicator also fluxuated wildly. It is fixed now.
