WR50507 Warehouse Brick Mural, Grey, 9'10" x 7'10"

I read every review from all stores that carry this. I loved the way it looked online and I was NOT disappointed when I got it. I am a DIY’r and I have done my fair share of wallpapering. I noticed a lot of people said they wished they had a ‘few more pair of hands’ to help. I actually did this by myself. It took about an hour and a half. I can’t imagine needing another person.Here are my tips for making this a breeze:Have the right tools. A SHARP exacto, wallpaper paste brush, a wallpaper brush for smoothing the paper, scissors, a straight edge. These are the bare necessities and make this install for flawless. Don’t try to do this without. These are inexpensive items.First of all, I thought this mural came as 6 precut pieces. It did not. It was one solid piece that has a 1/2in white spacer with cut lines in between each pice that you have to cut. I pre-cut each piece and wrote the number on the TOP back of EACH piece and lined them up on my table. After you cut the strips re-roll each piece from the bottom up so that the number is at the end and easy to see. This will help you when you install it.I bought a gallon of wall paper paste from Home Depot and ONLY pasted the amount needed for one sheet at a time - (See pic). Grab piece labeled ‘1’ (because you can see the number at the top on the back) LEAVE THE PAPER ROLLED UP, do not unroll it. Line it up with the ceiling/corner and slowly unroll it, use your wallpaper brush to smooth it down as you go. (I will tell you I did not do a chalk line because my walls were pretty straight). I did not get any bubbles as others people stated because I used the wallpaper brush. Use the straight edge at the bottom and your exacto to make a clean cut across the bottom against the trim. Save your scraps! (More later)This paper DOES NOT OVERLAP- add paste for the next sheet, grab your next piece staged on your table or floor labeled 2, line up the pattern, and slowly unroll it downward using your wallpaper brush, matching your pattern. Smooth all paper and trim at the bottom.If you have an outlet, put the paper over it but cut the paper in an X over the outlet with your exacto-(don’t hit the plugs). This will allow you to smooth it down, then go back and cut around the outlet after you get you piece installed. Continue to install the rest of the strips the same way.I had a doorway and knew my mural was going to come up short. I bought two murals in case I was gonna have to piece together over the doorway. Because the amount that should have gone where the door was I used that over the door way and pieced it together on a 2in gap to the right of my doorway casing and the wall. You can’t even tell at all. That’s why I recommend keeping all scraps until the end. I didn’t have to use the second mural and returned it.This is probably one of the easiest installs I have ever done. The paper quality is amazing. Very thick. Easy to work with if you unroll each piece and line it up as you go, it would be a nightmare otherwise. Just keep it rolled and roll as you go, it will be much frustrating.I did it two days before the 4th of July and had guests over last night. They all loved it and kept touching it. It looks great, it is a bit pixelized but you don’t view a mural from 6in, you view it from a distance. Everyone keeps touching it!!I decorated with industrial items and I love it! I would do it agin in a heartbeat!One side note. My wall was originally painted brick red so I am sure this helped me if there was any place in my seams that might have had a fraction of a gap, it completely worked in my favor.Good luck to you all! You can do it.Update: Its been 2 weeks, and this paper is still stuck down to the wall and not gaps in seams! High quality paper!!

The media could not be loaded.  This was a great urban style wallpaper. I wanted to redo my closet and this was prefect. Great quality and the final results were great. I did it by myself as well.

This wallpaper requires paste. I purchased a bucket of paste and a brush applicator as well as this wallpaper. Directions are easy to understand and straight forward.However, this was the first time I actually put up wallpaper and it was an adventure. I had a unique situation in my basement as a ventilation duct was against the wall, making for a shorter installation height. As soon as I placed the paper up, it would fall right back down on me. It was hard to line everything up. It might be a two person job.However, if you get the seams aligned properly, you can't tell where one piece starts and the other ends. Other than the shine in my photo from certain angles, you really couldn't tell if it was real or fake. It now doubles as an amazing industrial/city photo background as well as amazing basement decor.The resolution is quite high and they could probably double the price and still make me want to buy it again (please don't!). We bought brick wallpaper for another project (haven't installed it yet) at twice the cost and the resolution and detail was not as high as this one.

Bought this for a small office/extra room we were redoing. In our case we had extra material width wise, but lacked height in the wallpaper due to our 9’ ceiling. Since we planned a loft bed ( and if you factor in the baseboard) all we needed to do was to cut the paper and install in pieces so to make it appear uniform in the end. I love the pattern and quality of the wallpaper.We applied to a clean but textured wall. The texture is still somewhat seen and I like this fact since it’s supposed to mimic brick anyway. We used Roman wallpaper paste from a home store and as first time wallpaper-ers, it was pretty simple. But this was with two people. One person may find difficult if it is their first time.

Absolutely love this print; however, our wall was too large for one mural. We purchased two and centered one on the wall then cut the first half of the first strip and the last half of the last strip of the second roll. We then used the top and bottom of strips two through five to add to the top and bottom and used the pieces that matched the best to add to number one and six. It takes a little creative effort if you have a larger wall but it is totally doable - and worth it. The print is very forgiving. You couldn’t do this with most murals. Ours worked out well and we have received many compliments on it. We did take the advise of the detailed review regarding instillation and it was extremely helpful. Definitely recommend!

I converted a Tuff shed into an external office and used this wallpaper as an accent wall. Everyone was asking me where I got my virtual background during video conference calls. Looks amazing and pretty easy to put up for this first timer. The trick is to have a good plumb line. I did struggle on the first piece and was nervous I was taking too long but the paper was patient with me.. Once the first piece is up the rest fall into place nicely. Couldn't be happier with it.

great wallpaper but could have a little more aggressive adhesive, not super sticky enough.Apply using a water bottle filled with water and a drop of dish soap.Will eliminate air bubbles with a rubber squeegee and then able to slightly slide into place.Applying dry will almost guarantee bubbles.

It’s okay. It’s not great. A lot more dark and red than it appears in photos. I got my first roll up in my home gym and immediately didn’t like it. Gave it a few days and got increasingly annoyed with it. Will probably return my second roll and opt for something else. I was looking for a grunge look but this is too much going on.I think a lot of reviews have hyped it. It’s not that great. To me anyway. I stapled it in lieu of pasting

Love it! Wish my wall was bigger so I could have used it all! Easy to put on with some wallpaper adhesive! People have said that it looks pixel-y which I thought too when I opened the package but once it’s on the wall it really comes together.
