I am thrilled with these tables. I bought 2 and put them both together in about 20 min. The holes are pre-drilled and have metal screwholes in the shelves. The wood is high quality and absolutely gorgeous. I love that you can adjust the height with the feet attached on the bottom of the metal legs. Not every floorboard is even in old homes. No wobble here! Bonus. And the value for money…these were approx $50 cheaper than on the Way…ir place. Win win.

This is simply the best table you'll find. Instructions say it's best to have 2 people to put it together but I did it by myself in 5 minutes by laying it on its side (narrow end down). It's a perfect table for the side of our over stuffed chair. Most tables you have to lift a coffee cup over the arm of the chair to set your cup on the side table. This table is taller than most and stands an inch or two above the height of the chair arm making it perfect for setting down that morning coffee. It's super sturdy - no cheap parts and looks great.

I'm not one to leave reviews but this is one of the instances where I need to let everyone know how awful of a product this end table is.Upon opening the package and removing the styrofoam, you instantly notice the black dust covering the pieces of the end table. Once all the pieces were separated, I realized the stands of the end table were the source of the never-ending black soot covering my hands and my carpet. Even with my included photos, I can not describe enough, how much black soot is just coming from whatever coating process was used for the stands. I made a huge mistake in trying to wipe all the soot residue off the stands in hopes of it being salvageable but it just does not stop coming off and leaving remnants on your hands and floor.I absolutely believe this residue is a health hazard and I am SHOCKED a company willing sells a item in this condition. NO ONE should purchase this item until their manufacturing process has been fixed.

I hate buying having furniture delivered, that I have to assemble, that falls apart before you get sick of looking at it. I love Alaterre because their furniture is the best quality I have been able to find on Amazon. I have a few pieces but this particular table is heavy, sturdy, and looks industrial and awesome. You'll understand why its slightly more expensive when you experience living with it. This is good quality furniture.

While not as heavy as the Alaterre AZMBA1220 coffee table (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013I50WF6/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_3) which I also bought, this end table is respectable in it's own mass. Although it looks like it might be top-heavy, its close relationship with our planet's gravity gives it the heft to want to stay in place. If you do knock it over, please just let it fall. Someone could lose a foot.Sturdy. Some assembly required, but nothing an idiot couldn't handle. This came in a big box with two big pieces of wood two big pieces of metal. SUPREMELY WELL PACKED!

These shelves are perfect for a small room or apartment. I have a decent size living room and it seems pretty small for it. It's VERY heavy. I read reviews before purchasing and was not surprised by the texture, feels somewhat like you'd expect a coaster to feel. I want something that I don't need to worry about spills on so I did a couple coats of polyurethane before putting together and it was perfect. I think I'll probably end up passing it down to my son when he gets an apartment.

Easy to assemble and I was able to put this together by myself in about 15 minutes. I wasn’t expecting to appreciate the quality as much as I do, but this is a great inexpensive piece of furniture. If I need another table in the future, I won’t hesitate to buy this brand again.

Positives: Very easy to assemble. Rustic looking (which is what I wanted). Sturdy.Negatives: Metal frame was damaged in spots, but this is now concealed by the top wood piece so I decided to live with it instead of return it.Also be aware that the shelves are made of reclaimed wood (per the product info) and the stain seemed a little damp and had a slight odor when I took it out of the box. Not a deal breaker, especially since furniture from Amazon is such a huge pain to return.
