BAYCOSL-866 1200 lm LED Work Light with Magnetic Hook on Retractable Reel, Yellow

Extremely bright, the magnets on the side and end are very helpful. Long cord allowed me to reach 25’ ,from the middle of the shop, another 25’ into the driveway. The magnets on the drop light and the long cord made working on equipment outside in the dark less painful.

The liked the brightness, length of cord, and the speed of delivery!

I installed this light a few weeks ago and have used it on a few projects so far and it works great.PROS: The 1200/600 lumen settings are nice. 1200 lumen around shiny new brake rotors is a little too much light, so I use the 600 for that. @ 1200 it is about the same as a 75watt light bulb.The retract spring pulls the light up nicely without assistance needed. It is also easy to lock the light in place at the desired length, and the unit has a nice heavy click sound/feel when it engages.Both the magnets on the hook and light body are plenty strong to hold the light where you want it, even horizontally sideways. I wasn't planning on them being that strong. The magnets came in handy when doing the brakes and transmission service on my Ram 1500. The light will heat up to around 100 degrees Fahrenheit after an hour or so @ 1200 lum setting.The light is a skinny wand versus my older bulb style shop light and this skinny wand allows me so place it in small places my older shop light could never fit.CONNS: The only gripe I could see people having with is wanting extra cord. In some situations 30 feet may not be enough. Plan out the installation location accordingly.Overall I'm very happy with it and would recommend it to others.

Really great light! It could only be improved by more magnets, (only has one on top and one on side). Also it would be better if on/off button was on opposite side of light bar.

This light is bright. It is great under the truck while I'm working. If fact, I bought a second one right away.

As with any garage or work item, time tells the truth of the quality and durability of a product. It seems to be built sturdy and I can say that the light is very bright, much brighter than my old fluorescent work light. It has two light settings and even on the low it is brighter than the my old work light.I also like the magnetic base which is handy for hanging or placing the light in a place that allows you to work with both hands. I'm giving it 5 stars for the initial quality of the product.

Dislike: Magnet makes it able to fall off if the wire is stepped on and the magnet pops off and the light falls on the floor.Dislike: Magnet grabs onto any nearby metal and pulls the light away from where you want it.Dislike: Magnet grabs onto any nearby metal and changes directions so it doesn't shine where you want it to.Dislike: Light is SUPER bright and when the magnet grabs and turns the light it shines right in your eyes and blinds you.Dislike: Even when you can finally make light shine where you want it to, a LOT of light leaks from the back of the LED array and/or bounces around inside the plastic tube and shines into your eyes making it STILL THE BRIGHTEST THING in your vision, and again blinds you.I finally stuck a bunch of black electrical tape on the back of the plastic tube to block the light. It HELPED a lot, thereby proving that too much light leaks from the back.Like:.. not a lot. The wire is pretty light so it's easy to pull out and retract.other than that, I finally gave up and decided to toss it since I hated useing it every time. I was a dealership mechanic for 25 years and used a work light every day for those 25 years. The cheap kind. They never let me down except when I dropped them and broke the lightbulb.. but they still worked way way better then this expensive light. This is well designed but the choices made are to be impressive and sell this.. not that the choices are usefull for working on a car. For that use, this is "useless". I now use a flashlight or portable worklight that I can control.

Very pleased with this new led light. I’m replacing an old fluorescent and this is so much better. Bright light instantly instead of that flickering and slow increase in brightness. It’s brighter than I expected, and that’s a real plus. So far the retractable cord has worked fine, although admittedly haven’t used it that much yet. Seems to be well made in every way. I like that it has both hook and magnets for mounting. All in all very pleased with this light.

This is a very bright light with 2 settings.it also has powerful holding magnets with swivel hook.I would recommend this light

Arrived late as per normal, however it is a fantastic tool, very bright and allows for hands free use with 2 magnetic areas.
