"Reliable, Easy-to-Use Scientific Calculator!"
purchased the Casio scientific calculator for my son, and it has been an excellent tool for his schoolwork! The calculator is incredibly user-friendly, with clear, well-labeled buttons and an intuitive layout that makes it easy to use for both basic and more advanced math problems. The display is large and easy to read, which helps reduce errors when solving equations. It has all the essential functions needed for algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and other subjects, and it handles complex calculations effortlessly. One of the things I really appreciate is its durability. It’s sturdy, compact, and fits comfortably in a backpack or desk drawer. The battery life is impressive, and we’ve had no issues with performance, even after months of heavy use.Overall, this Casio scientific calculator is reliable, affordable, and perfect for students and anyone needing a dependable calculator for everyday math. Highly recommend it for both school and personal use!

Works as expected
A simple calculator for those who don’t want anything fancy. Solar battery is relatively sensitive so you can work in almost any lighting other than dark. Lastly, works fast and comes with manual to change around settings like radian or degree mode, etc.

Balky keys already
I bought this to replace an identical calculator which had keys that started getting sticky/balky and wouldn't actuate when pressed. Well this one I've only had a few months and it also is starting to get some keys that act up. Since I don't use it a ton, it's not that big of a deal but is disappointing...YMMV

Great calculator, with not so much scientific stuff that you need to be a genius to use it.
This is the exact same unit as one I purchased years ago. And I like that a company is making the same product because it's a great unit. So many companies have to change things that designed well and work great, and then when they " improve and update " it , it becomes a piece of junk. But not Casio, they still make it the same way, with the most minute cosmetic changes.Though I use it for the most basic math, I like the scientific functions because they remind of being a math nerd.

I love it.
It is simple, nothing fancy. It needs very low amount of light to operate. It is reasonably quick. The display is very readable. The buttons are very satisfying to operate. I like the design. It has all functions I needed during my collage. The only issue is, it is hard to open and takes some getting use to.

Small…not made like they used to be
I used an old Casio fx300 from about 1993 until now when the flip cover broke. I thought this would replace it. This Casio is small and feels cheap in your hand. Not a smooth click of the buttons…more clunky. I was just about to take an exam and the screen froze on 60000 and took about 5 minutes of covering the solar cell to turn it off, clearing, and hitting every button to finally get it to clear. i lost all confidence in it. It has all the functionality needed for algebraic and geometric calcs, but I will definitely try to find one a little better.
