I open all of them and make sure the open part is getting the air flow directly. You should have the air flowing through the filter first, then directly into the open part of the bulb, then on thru the system. If you have it installed backwards, it won’t work well. I’m on day 7 and my house smell great despite occasionally smoking inside. I taped them to the filter to keep them from getting stuck when changing filters.

I was so in hopes this item worked as hyped in our 1,500 sq ft home. After installing with 1/2 of the scent vials open it did fragrance the house the first day. The next two days the furnace barely ran. When the furnace began running again on the 4th day, no one noticed any forthcoming scent. Waited about a week and opened the remaining vials and again rejoiced in the gentle fragrance that day. But on day 2 it went flat again. I cannot recommend this product.

I cannot say enough great things about these!! I got the fresh linen scent. Easy to install on the filter and like magic your whole house smells fresh and clean!! We have pets and our house is old and can sometimes smell musty. But with this, not anymore!!

I purchased these whole house air filters because they had great reviews. Unfortunately after a day the smell was gone! Maybe an old batch?

They don’t last or really make your home smell. Thank God because I bought the worse scent I’ve ever had. There was one a while ago that they did make the entire house smell so good but I can’t find it anywhere and I believe it could of been a different brand. brand. I do use them for my garabage can and they help for that so it wasn’t a total loss. They remind me of little round flattened jelly pods. As far as value for your money about so so. Not spendy but not too cheap I would recommend then though because I’m sure the smell isn’t that bad. Just not for me.

The smell is very very chemical.

So I purchased these by mistake. I thought I was ordering the actual filters. However, I decided to give them a try and let me tell you I LOVE these. The smell is gentle and not overkill.I will be ordering more

I haven’t been able to find these in store lately, so I always stock up when I run low! Super good option for a refreshing smell every time your furnace or AC kicks on! There are different scent options for different times of the year! I just change the scent booster every time I change my filter.
