BEWARE OF NEIGHBORS
I read this play several weeks ago and plan to see it in New York. A true and frightening cautionary tale when you open your hearts and share with new neighbors who are living on nothing. Very impressive writing and totally believable. Paints a painful picture of youth running on empty. First rate work.Ray NeyeBrookhaven, PA

Great play
Wonderful comic riff on the absurdity and fragility of the American dream. This is what great contemporary playwriting is all about.

Great condition! Decent content...
I'm harsh when it comes to plays, and this one didn't really make the cut for me. I liked sections of it rather than the whole thing. Don't let that deter you from reading it... but maybe let it warn you from buying it. I own it, and kind of want to sell it back.

Great story with great monologues to pull from

Disappointing play
Emotionally difficult content. I did not like or relate to any of the character. I have not seen it performed live, but would go and see the play because it is well written and engaging.

Okay, what's next...
I'm pretty clever in staging and I find it hard to see it as a practical script for stage. It's more written for film, and even then, it's a small story. The twist is good, but not great.

Detroit - A play
This was interesting - not my favorite. It might be better if I have a chance to see it. My son, who is involved in theater, liked it a lot. I had trouble following

a quick read
It was rather depressing. I may think differently eventually, but the characters were not fully developed. The narrative was powerful and moved well.
