Oem is clean
Previously had non oem. They only lit up the M and it wasnt that bright. But the M on this OEM light looks great. Its shiney it has like a sparkle to it and it actually lights up the floor as it should. BMW is really the best value brand there is in my opinion for dependability style comfort safety and luxury

Extremely dim even in complete darkness
I purchased this for my wife’s BMW XM Label Red which amazingly did not come with door lights. The dealership installed some “OEM” BMW door projection lights which are barely visible even in complete darkness and completely invisible during daylight.Compared to other door projection lights this LED is identical to the OEM lights. We have a fleet of vehicles and many other brands projection lights can be clearly seen during the brightest day mid-summer. At night it *should* appear crystal clear and be near blinding brightness, unfortunately these are nowhere near that quality.The differentiating factor is the power and quality of the LED and whether or not the projection unit utilizes a plastic or glass lens. This is using a cheap plastic lens.This projection unit is also much longer than other door projection LEDs, which means you will have to cut some plastic under your door to get these to fit properly.The connection pin is identical to stock/OEM, so at least it fits without splicing or additional wiring.For the poor value and poor quality I would not recommend this to others.
