My daughter plugged her phone charger into my 2020 Traverse front usb and the whole port stopped working. It’s been almost six months of no Apple Carplay because I haven’t had the time to sit for the two hour diagnostic that my car dealership said would need to be done to tell what the problem was, despite me telling them the story, or wanted to pay what it would probably cost. I figured it was a fuse, but after some searching with no luck, I decided to try to replace the actual port. I’m a woman with the desire to fix things myself but often have to ask my husband for help. I watched a YouTube video, bought this replacement plus a cheap set of plastic car interior tools, and got the old usb out and put this new one in, in less than 5 minutes. Worked like a charm and now I can use maps and other features of Apple Carplay again! Very pleased!!

Doesn’t support CarPlay and only has one usb.

2018 Buick Enclave. Couldn’t get the original charger or car play to work. After discovering there is no fuse for this I thought I’d try replacing this module. It worked! We now have car play back and it works as it should. My understanding is that there are a couple of different versions of this module and you need to get the specific one that your car has, I did my research and found the correct part number for ours. It was a booger getting the old one out but you’ll see what you need to do when you get the new one. I used a piece of a spring steel hair clip to get under it and release the clips.

Used this to finish my upgrade of my 2015 GMC Sierra SLT radio and HMI to the 2016 model w/Apple Car play. Was straightforward to install and works as advertised. True OEM spec part.

Wasn't that hard to replace.
