Perfect when getting your 18th Century on!
So very happy with this purchase!! I purchased the pink..arrived in beautiful condition, very well made and historically correct for the 1773 look I am going for. Stays on well with just a mob cap underneath..no need for a hat pin! Flowers are clipped on and can be removed. Ribbon ties are nice and thick and tie easily behind the back if my head...Straw is nice and stiff but bends enough to curve ever so slightly to stay in place with little tension! Perfect for a Summer day in Colonial America!! Def recommend..shipping pretty fast too!! I am 58yrs old and using it for a reenactment of Betsy Ross's wedding...we are having a publicity event in June and I am going to Rock this Hat!! If any of my GC girls are looking for a hat for that event..this is a perfect choice!! Mine is a pinky dusky mauve!!

Very pretty bonnet
I bought this to wear at a Dickens’s festival. It was much nicer than I expected, consider the price. It is very pretty and nicely constructed. One hint. This comes flat. You must bend it to fit your face, otherwise the chin ribbon feels tight. I tied it in the shape I wanted and set it on the counter for a couple of days. It solved the problem.

Cute and perfect for historical cosplay. This is obviously not a function hat to wear, its for dressing up.

Bought this hat as part of a costume obviously but couldn’t wear it because the ribbon was like gift wrapping ribbon and so scratchy that I couldn’t tie it under my chin. And since the hat arrived completely flat it had to be tied.

It’s lovely but for a childThe biggest one fits a 8 y girl’s headDelivered next day and was in perfect condition and looks adorable but not for adults at all.Had to send it back!

Really beautiful.
It's beautiful. Painful to wear however and difficult to attach to real hair! Maybe that is how things were back then? 🤔 Still, if you find a way around that , it is a really gorgeous piece. I tied the ribbons and used it as a 'flower gathering' prop. Perfect.

Looks a but wonky
The hat is lovely, although the ribbons have been stuck on unevenly so when tied the hat looks a bit wonky. Will need to redo. Other than that it's worth the money.

It doesn't fit
Ordered this as a sun hat for the summer and thought it would fit an average ladies head. If you do have an average ladies head-DO NOT BUY THIS. I opened it and instantly knew it wasn't going to fit-it was too small and a complete waste of money...
