Well built, high quality
Well built and high quality. Malco builds a nice tool. Worth the money. 5 star tool. I think if your hands are smaller, it might be a little difficult to use due to it being a large size. Cuts galvanized sheet metal cleanly. I was using the heavier gauge galvanized btw. Works great.

My previous M14 is still working fine on the first set of blades after 23 years
My previous M14 is still working fine on the first set of blades after 23 years. I bought this tool as a backup to keep at my parents' house, and I was pleased to see that it is just as well made as ever. In fact, it offers two upgrades over the old snips: what appear to be powder coated instead of painted handles and a sexy little logo insert near the pivot bolt.Another reviewer mentioned that the 14" snips are almost too much tool since someone without giant hands cannot open the handles far enough to make a full cut. I find them just right. In the first place, one can use the extra holes in front of the handle loops to place the fingers closer to the pivot and easily open the handles fully. In the second place, the point of the longer 14" handles is not just more leverage but rather a hand position farther behind the cut so that the two halves of the material flow around the snips more smoothly. Thanks, Malco, for not dumbing down a great tool.

Excellent! Clean cuts
I bought these to cut some repurposed corrugated metal roofing. I had planned to use a circular saw with carbide blade turned backwards. Upon recommendation from someone who had used these, I took a chance. They do require some hand strength, but you don't have to be a 500 lb gorilla! The cuts were very clean and easy to follow a pencil line across 28" sheets of corrugated roofing. Be sure to wear gloves, the cut ends will be sharp!

They cut really well
These remind me of EMT scissors. The ones medical folks use that cut everything. These things cut leather, carpet, hardware wire, even corgated roofing metal. Hard to use with just one hand, but can be done.

There HUGGGGEEE!
I’m writing this for a quick response review because I just got the package and have not used them to see how they cut which I will update but you need to be André the giant to be able to open them up all the way I have pretty big hands and if I extend my thumb and four fingers to open up the cutters the shears only open up about a half an inch. You literally need to use two hands to open it up even halfway.

Excellent for shaping asphalt shingles
Was watching a YouTube video when I saw a guy who had a pair of these. Got me curious. Took a while to.find them, but very happy I did. Worked amazingly well shaping asphalt shingles around pipes and vents. Would encourage you to try these if you find cutting around protruding obstacles difficult. Can't wait to try them on vinyl siding as well. Blades appear to be holding up so far, but I bought a spare set of blades just in case.

An excellent addition to my DIY toolbox.
I am an average DIY handyman. I bought these to relocate some duct work in the basement ceiling before putting up drywall. What can I say, these cut through sheet metal like butter. I am 5' 6" with average size hands for my height and did find these tools a bit large for one handed operation at times, but wouldn't have picked a different pair as the leverage was ideal when cutting through multiple layers. An excellent addition to my DIY toolbox.
