The media could not be loaded. It's exactly what I wanted. It's the perfect box for my DIY greenwall. I recommend painting them with anti rust undercoat to prevent rust from building inside and outside of these metal boxes.After years of maintaining house plants, my current disposition is to use metal boxes with no drainage holes. Round pots with drainage holes drain all nutrients out of the soil and eventually kill the plant.Also, I noticed that plants tend to do much better when they're in a box with other plant species. Nature seems to favor biodiversity.An added advantage is that a metal box looks much better on a shelf than a small round ceramic planter.As long as you touch the surface of the soil in the box with your finger to make sure it's dry before you water it, the plants will thrive.It's not true what some reviews are saying about this box not having drainage holes. It does have drainage holes on the four corners of the box covered with transparent rubber that doubles as support stands.

This item was prettier than expected and well-made. It is a welcome addition to our new front porch.

So far so good. Might need more drainage holes but haven’t had a lot of rain and the plants are happy. If we have more rain, we’ll see if it drains fast enough. But I definitely have had to water less than I did the old one.

I ordered two of these to start a kitchen herb garden. One of them arrived in perfect condition, the other arrived with a slightly bent side. Both wobble a bit if I try to wobble them, but the one that isn’t damaged is very slight, while the damaged one is much more pronounced. That said, I’m pretty eclectic and have lots of antique store finds at my house, so it’s no problem.They taper out heavily toward the tops, so be aware of that.Finally, and this is my own fault, but apparently copper is toxic to plants, so making a flower pot out of it without having a liner in it is foolish. Thus, I had to go out and purchase a slew of small terracotta pots to put my herbs in, significantly increasing the cost of this little project.That said, it looks nice now with my seedlings planted, and it’ll look much nicer with kitchen herbs growing strong and a nice patina to tone down the brilliant copper…putting some salt water on the copper to help it along since I don’t want to use strong chemicals in my kitchen.

I use this in my flower boxes that are built in to my 52 gallon used Bourbon Barrels.

Color not as dark as photos show, but still very nice! We got the blue color. Packing was terrible and it came damaged, but my husband fixed it.
