Coming from pomade, it is nice to have something that doesn't have to harden the hair as much, but still keep a style hold. A little on the pricy side, but don't need much per use.

The hold, it's really good. Not quite what I'm used to but still very good.Some reviewers lost their minds over the scent. It's not awful, smells very similar to baby oil. The smell isn't overwhelming. It's not my favorite, but not as bad as some reviews made it out to be.Overall, this product gets the job done.

I like the product; it is easy to apply, the smell is pleasant and not too strong, the shine is about medium as advertised, and the product is not super expensive. However, Johnny B claims this product to be a 7 out of 10 hold. I find that it is probably more like a 5 out of 10. If the product had more hold, I would have given it a higher rating, but since hold is more or less my number one concern, I gave it a 3 star rating. The Street Cream by Johnny B has a much higher hold and is probably one of the my favorite hair products I have used, albeit is more of a matte finish compared to this Molding Paste.

I was recommended this product by a friend. It was a little more than what I usually spend on hair products like this but honestly it was way better than what I was expecting. It’s hold is great and it has a nice smell. It’s very compatible with my hard as it’s strong enough to hold it for long periods of time but not so much that it feels heavy and immovable. My only complaint is that I wish the jar was a little bigger. Other than that I’m very pleased with this product and will be buying again.

I only gave this 2 stars because I ordered the molding paste but ended up with another product. This was for my husband and he has yet to try it so I'll have to wait and see. Frustrating
