Patons Classic Wool DK Yarn, 1.75 oz, Red, 1 Ball

Love this 100% wool yarn for knitting hats, washing in hot soapy water to felt.

I gave it 4 stars because I wasnt to crazy about how little amount it was. I wasn't thinking correctly an was thinking it was a little more. Thats my fault but it does look like more in the picture. It is a good color an easy to work with. I do like the way it works up. I wish that it would have came with 2 or just been a bigger size but still a good product.

I used this to make a BJD doll wig and it worked out so well. the hair quality worked for afro American hair. i simply rolled it into several locks around my finger, tied a piece around the middle and applied it to the handmade skullcap with glue.

This yarn is great. It's 100% wool and soft. HOWEVER, the primary description of this product would seem to indicate that you get 3 skeins. This is not the case. It is 1 skein. The 3 is referring to the gauge of the yarn only - it is Light number 3. I can buy this yarn for $6 per skein at the craft store so $9 is not a bargain.

Such a soft wool yarn. I'm so into making the dryer balls and couldn't wait to make this one and see the colors it would make. I'm so excited how well it felted, I got two from this skein. I do use scraps yarn and old sweater (wool) cut up in the center, then the Spinrite Classic Wool on outside and then felt by putting in nylon sock and washing in hot water and drying in high heat. These are so awesome and using a few drops of essential oils before tossing in dryer gives my clothes a beautiful scent, fast drying, saving money, Win win. Using 4-6 per dryer loads give great results, but you could use more. I'm totally satisfied with this yarn and highly recommend it.

The colours are pretty boss, heavy without sacrificing beauty. My brother loved his mitts. Fabric rendered is warm, strong, and not scratchy.The yarn splits easily, can be frustrating. Also fuzzes like no one's friend when wet blocking. Conditioner or Soak is necessary.

I really like this yarn. Especially the color.But what I failed to notice…. And totally MY fault because it was mentioned … I didn’t see the oz of yarn. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Beautiful colors and pretty soft for wool. The only issued I have is how small the skein is for the price. I got the Autumn.

Way too much for a tiny roll of yarn. Won't purchase yarn on Amazon again.

Small ball of yarn but can make a nice hat

The yarn itself seems fine, but each skein is wrapped in non-recyclable plastic. I would not have purchased this product if I was aware of this, and I do not intend to purchase this product in the future.
