Good olives, would buy again
As some mentioned, these are salty. I buy a lot of olives, some tell me I buy too many, and you can find a lot of variety in packages of olives, such as if they're in brine or red wine vinegar or olive oil. There is a kind called Jubilee Mix that I get at Aldi which is in oil and not salty. Delallo is good, too. That being said, I love these and will buy them again. When you compare the price per ounce to the small jars and packages I usually get, it's a good deal, and I thought they tasted very good. In fact, I just ordered the Roland baby kalamata olives that were also 4lbs 6 oz. In short, good variety of olives and textures, good flavor, pretty good deal if you already buy a lot of olives to snack on anyway. Edited to add a photo of what it looks like when you put the whole thing into deli/soup containers, which I recommend doing in hot weather so they don't get moldy or discolored. That way they are easy to get out and fit in the fridge nicely.

One Low Price 4 Combo
I love the combination of different types of olives, garlic and roasted peppers. Instead of buying 3 diff jars they're all combined in one. No pits! This one however is very salty!! Dumped out most of the liquid, rinsed them off, added olive oil, seasoning garlic and fresh water. Good as new and excellent flavor. Grab some pita bread, hummus and feta cheese and you've got a great meal.

Was too salty, not anymore!
They were kind of too salty so I poured off the brine, filled it back up with plain water and shook it up then let it soak for awhile. Then I dumped that water off and refilled it, with plain water again added more garlic, red pepper flakes, whole fresh lemon, peel and all, and some olive oil. It’s absolutely perfect now. Very yummy!!!

good, and completely normal saltiness
Waited for my second order to review these, to verify how long they stay good (going strong at four months in the original package & brine, accidentally left out overnight once but otherwise stored in the fridge) and consistency (second package seems exactly the same as my first). The olives have been in good shape, reasonably firm and whole, and tasty. The quality *and saltiness* is on par with an upscale supermarket's olive bar, but for close to half off the price. I don't think they're any more or less salty than I'd expect at a restaurant either, with tapas or charcuterie or in a Greek salad. Really not sure what all the "too salty" reviews are comparing to unless it's olives from a can, an entirely different (ugh!) animal. Regardless, as others have said, the brine is briny for a reason - salt is a preservative, it's there to prevent nasties from growing in the water and on your olives. If you replace the brine with plain water, don't expect these to keep for nearly as long unless you do something else to preserve them, like maybe freezing or canning most of them. My household goes through about a pound a month, and after four months the last olives were as good as the first. I just keep them in the original plastic mini-barrel and use a perforated serving spoon, which is now known as "the olive spoon," to dig them out.

too salty to enjoy, dried brine on the container —-> trashed
I have purchased the Roland foods kalmata olives before and they were quite good. So I decided to purchase the mixed olives. These are pitted, but a lot of them are very cut up. These are not good for our presentation. My bigger proble is that the package arrived with dried brown brine around the top and in the threads of the screw off lid? As I removed everything I do believe the olives were sealed) they must have added nitrogen or something to the container because the bottom was bulged when I got it. When I open the container, the bulge on the bottom went away. I was fully expecting to find that the food was rotten, but it was not. However, the flavor is disgusting and these are salty beyond any food I’ve ever had in my life, and I was raised in the south and we salt everything. Since I do have 4 lbs. 6 oz. of these, I might try soaking in some water or something to salvage some of them, these are just totally inedible and nasty.

Way too salty
Olives were all firm. No squishy bits. BUT an insane amount of salt :/

Delicious and a large amount!
Amazing quality AND quantity! The flavor is intense, much more flavor than the typical stuff we buy. Two out of four in my family really loves these whole but all four of us love this as sliced up in various toppings - in salads, on charcuterie boards, light pasta recipes, the list goes on! It's salty, but in a good way. Anyway, all of us highly recommend these. The biggest struggle is us arguing on how to use them next. It's packaged really well also. I don't normally write reviews but this deserves it.
