like a lot of folks I’m a do it yourself’er installing a Mini Split.So I'm not in the habit of cutting and flaring copper. I can't chance a leak.Applied to the mating surface of the fitting, it is very controllable. Has the viscosity of glue.One thing I did discover when testing my flanges was that if you titen them down and then open them up again it helped put the finishing touch on the flan. At that point I applied the product and installed.Very happy, no leaks.

Works great on refridgeration fightings

Used it only once and the connections don’t leak, so I assume it works. Lots of good reviews on this product.

Works great Dries fast

This fluid does exactly what it says it does, it seals the threads on refrigeration fittings. I have not had a single problem with this fluid and I've used it on several systems.

Two times I had to reflare a half inch line of a line set for a mini split. Could not get it to seal. It had been 30 years since I had to flare some tubing but I never had a problem before. My neighbor with 25 years experience with high pressure lines and fuel systems could not get his three attempts to reflare and seal. Retired HVAC neighbor three times, could not get it to seal! Heard about this product. Applied it to the inside of the flare and the male part of the flare tightened it together pressurized, then vacuumed the system. No problem! Save yourself the misery even if you only use it once or twice the couple of bucks is worth it. And a neighbor just might need it sometime too....
