KitchenAid Fine Stainless Steel Zester/Grater, Red

It does everything it says it does. I mainly use it to grate chocolate and it does the job no problem. It can be a bit difficult to clean at times but it's nowhere near as problematic as some other graters I've used in the past. I'd definitely buy again.

Bought this for my wife as a random gift. She is a professional baker and her zester broke. She has literally not mentioned it a single time since it showed up. I give it five stars because I assume that anything a woman is not actively complaining about must be viewed as adequate. This is really concerning for me and my future around this place. At this rate the zester will probably outlast me.Please consider this unit for any zesting needs as it has achieved the approval by silence award of a professional pastry chef.

For my bakery, muffins with limes

It didn't take very long for it to wear down to the point where it was grating the little plastic material holder box along with the ______ (nutmeg, garlic, fill in the blank with whatever you like). The design is bad, there is no way that you can avoid grating plastic into your food after just a little bit of wear. It not only grates the plastic from the box, it grates/shaves off the little plunger thing that is used to apply pressure to the material you're grating too. The teeth on the plunger were the first to go though I didn't notice until it was too late. I hope this doesn't act like ground glass in the human digestive tract ....

It is a zester. It works. Good build quality as expected from KitchenAid.

If you do buy this grater for any large amounts of grating, be aware that it is only about an inch, or less, wide and you will have to chop up any cheeses into very small pieces about 1/2" wide, or a smaller size, before they will fit into the tiny sliding holder.It does fine without the sliding holder, but is slow to produce larger amounts of anything that you may need to grate. It is of fair construction, but not what I would define as your "every day" type of grater.

Does an excellent job

Funktioniert einwandfrei. Der kleine Restehalter ist ideal. Diesen kleinen Küchenhelfer würde ich mir jederzeit wieder zu legen. Klare Kaufempfehlung meinerseits.
