SuperFlo High Performance Pumps 1HP EC-348190

This item arrived way earlier than expected like the next day after I ordered it. In the second pic, the newer pump is the one already installed with the older model on the grass. The newer one works well, but it does sound a bit different than the older model especially because it has a fan. It's not too loud, you'll get used to it after a few days and it's only on for a certain time frame during each day, so that's ok. My husband had an ok time installing it. He had to go to Home Depot to get a longer wire for the new one. No biggie, easy installation, just follow the instructions. Overall, we're pleased with our new pump. If we weren't selling our house in a few months, we would've opted for the more expensive $1,200 better one. However, this one works fine though. It does its job. Our other pump lasted 4 yrs, hopefully this one lasts longer. Great seller. Item was packaged really well & shipped via UPS in fragile handle with care stickers all over & bubble wrapped in a solid box. Thank you.

Had prior 3/4 HP discontinued model 348022 for 11 years and jit ust started making noise. This new version popped right in place, using exact same fittings. Had it installed before Alexa stated "Your Package Has Arrived". Seems a little louder than old version (before bearing noise), perhaps just the fan they now use? With 13,000 gallon pool limited with 1.5" pipes, only needed 3/4HP, but sadly, California codes that affect all of the USA, made that model extinct. Still, prior version only cost around $1 a day in electricity, with year round Florida use, so not really worth it to go variable speed and additional electronics that could fail.

This pump is my 3rd pentair superflo pump. The other two I’ve installed were whisper quiet and strong flowing. This one is weak and loud. There must be something wrong with it but InThe Swim won’t deal with it until Pentair deems it defective. Pentair has not responded to my attempt to contact them to solve this. I will probably have to eat the $670 cost and switch to ANY other brand for replacement.

So far this is a great pump, way more efficient than the 1.5 hp I just replaced when it died. It definitely puts out a lot more pressure, which surprised me dropping a half hp. Easy install if you have some electronic knowledge, but the manual is no help so if you don't know what you're doing get some help. Arrived on time, next day delivery. Only 1 week in now so will update if anything changes.

This is a great investment, but it’s definitely louder than my previous pump. I can see myself turning it off when I’m hanging out by the pool or cranking up the music to drown it out.

Perfect replacement pump for my old pump that finally gave out. It was an easy swap with the inlet in the exact same position as previous pump. Great price compared to some other places I shopped.

I was surprised it fit. It connected rt up. Rey quiet as well.

Packed well. It is a heavy item so be aware of that before lifting.Have not installed yet to test it’s working properly but the pump appears to be in good condition.
