PattyBoutik Women Sleeveless Blouson Maxi Dress (Blue X-Large)

I ordered this dress in the dark purple color and loved it so much that I bought it in "turquoise" too.For reference, I'm 5'8, 165, currently a size US12, athletic / somewhat straight build. I ordered these in my usual size, L.The purple one looked, for the most part, like it does on the model except it's about an inch or so shorter (my big toe peeks out in 1.5 inch wedges), so I've only stepped on it twice, I think.It's flattering for my body type. It "follows" my contours without being overly clingy, and it does a great job of hiding my tummy.Although I'm not especially busty (36 barely a C cup),I think there's enough fabric on top to allow for a larger bust line.Because it's soft t-shirt type fabric, it's super comfortable and cool. I love that design allows me to wear a regular bra underneath.As for care, I've machine washed it on cool and tumble dried on low a few times and it hasn't changed shape at all.The color is pretty close to the picture - maybe slightly less blue undertone, but definitely a deep purple color.I'm a little less enamored of the "turquoise" one. I thought I'd love it more, but I find that is fits just slightly differently. It seems a little longer. I'll either have to wear higher shoes or have it hemmed to avoid falling on my face.And I'm not sure if it's because the color is lighter so I notice it more, or if it really IS cut slightly smaller on top but I feel like it clings a bit to my lower rib chub.As for the color - on my screen, the "turquoise" looks like light blue. I was really hoping that it would actually be aqua. Nope, it's not turquoise, light blue OR aqua, but I guess I would describe it as sort of a muted sage green. It's still a pretty color but my friends with cooler skin tones would be more disappointed because it looks better with gold (especially rose gold!) jewelry than with silver (just my opinion... still looks good with silver, but not AS good.)Neither dress is see-through, but I don't think I'd wear a hot pink bra under the greenish one just in case.While these are not the cheapest option for dresses of this type, I personally don't mind paying a bit more because I know I will get a lot of mileage out of them because they're missus cut, not juniors, and they're SO EASY to dress up or down.A little FYI: I'm considering ordering more items from this brand as it appears they offer several "blousen" (or 'bubble style') and other tummy-hiding styles that are sometimes hard to find.** I try to write clear and helpful reviews, so if you found this at all helpful, please click the appropriate button to let me know that I'm 'on the right track'. I am 5'5", 142 pounds, fit build, 34C.I wasn't planning on purchasing this dress, as I prefer fitted styles and not tops that blouse out on the bottom. I am very glad that I did. I wore it to Jamaica. While not necessarily the coolest option (the material is soft, not too thick, but the cloth has a fair amount of weight to it), it worked well for me, being loose enough that I didn't feel trapped in my own clothing. The dress is long. I was able to wear sandals that were almost flats (they had maybe an inch of lift), and with a bit of playing around with where the waist sat, I was able to get the hem just off of the ground. There is only so much play you can get with the waist however, depending on your body build. I probably could have gone down a size and still have been comfortable in it, but I don't regret the size that I did purchase (medium). I will probably make a point of wearing wedges with the dress now that I am home, just to make sure the hem stays off the ground. The blue is also a very beautiful color. I like this dress quite a bit.

I fell in love with this dress last year, and had ordered a purple one..size Large. I weigh 173 lbs and am 5'8". I recently purchased the red dress, and was shocked at how different the material was! It was thin and see through! I compared tags of both dresses and even though they claim the same material contents..something is off. I've worn and washed my purple one multiple times since buying it last year and still love it..I've had no problems with it at all but this new red dress seems poorly made and of cheaper fabric. It also had two black stains on the front that won't come out. I've washed it 3 times and used treatments to no avail...I won't waste my money or time purchasing from this company again. Many of their items seem to be deteriorating in quality, and I refuse to pay a high price for an inferior product.

I purchased this dress in what they call turquoise...it’s not at all what I consider turquoise to be but it is the color exactly as pictured...I feel it’s more of a mix between a darker aqua and a sage green...it’s a very soft color, flattering and unique. I am 5’7”...135 lbs...34C and usually a size 4. I ordered both the small and medium because I was unsure as to how fitted and revealing of every body imperfection it would be (as I’m a mom and not a young body anymore). The size medium worked really well overall. It fit nicely around tummy, hips, butt and thighs and didn’t show my panty lines. The waistband has a little give that you could move slightly higher up on the tummy or a bit lower. I put it a bit lower to hide a little tummy stuff and to elongate my upper body as I am a bit short waisted. The straps felt a tad bit loose but I can deal with that. The dress was long...just grazing my flip flops close to the ground. The fabric is beautiful, soft and comfortable....it’s light and airy feeling. I feel you could wear this casual with flip flops, maybe a bit higher sandal or wedge...or even dress is up with a chunky necklace and heels. I hope this helps!

Love this dress. I bought it for an upcoming wedding with dress code "smart casual". The blue color is gorgeous, and the material is soft and comfortable and just the right weight. It has room to adjust the waistband to fall in exactly the right spot. I'm only 5'3" so it's a bit long on me, but with the right wedge heels it hits perfectly.

I LOVE THIS DRESS. I'm 5'10 and this comes right around my feet, which has been hard for me to find. The band in the middle makes the dress comfortable and form fitting without showing off too many curves. The color is absolutely beautiful and fabric is so comfy. I've ordered several items from PattyBoutik and I've always been super satisfied. This was so nice to wear and looked great.

I love this dress and have told all of my tall friends to buy it, my sister has now bought 3. I'm 5ft 10in and its really long on me, you can adjust where the waist band is though to change the length of the skirt. I have the olive green one which is a gorgeous colour. Material is lovely and nice quality. I haven't washed it yet, but confident it will be fine. Great dress for tall ladies and really flattering style.

I love the colour of this dress as it’s so rich and it’s truly a beautiful made dress, the only fault I had was the top part of the dress could of been a-bit more loose and I found the dress not bagging over enough to hide my belly, i could of got a size up but I know from the style it wouldn’t of helped it just wouldn’t sit right on me, i have a purple boob tube dress from patty and that I found bag over beautifully with a band to adjust enough to make me look slimmer and feel comfortable, but if your a bit flatter on the stomach area do buy this dress as it’s stunning on, I’m 5ft 6 and it falls to the ground so definitely long and glam👍💚

I love the service I get from this company, always beautifully delivered. My only complaint is that one of the seams has split. it's over the double material bit so isn't awful and could well have been my fault but is a tiny bit disappointing, it can be fixed easily though so not a huge deal. Other than that it's lovely and will undoubtedly buy more of their stuff in the future. Is quite long so would be easy to damage the hem if wearing flat shoes I guess, but length of skirt can be adjusted slightly due to the design of the dress. Skirt flows beautifully as well.

Super holiday dress. Can be dressed up with for that dinner on the beach or simply worn casual during the day. Nice and long, I am 5' 8" and can still wear low heels with this outfit. Sadly the packaging was awful, the dress was crammed into a tiny bag which left it lookiing like a rag, nearly returned it because of that. Have yet to wash it so no comment about washability. Colour true to picture. My size choice fit perfectly. Would recommend.

Love this dress! I am size 12, 5ft 11 tall, and it fits me perfectly. I wear it with flat sandals and it hits the floor. Soft jersey fabric, and very comfortable. I have received many compliments on this dress. It's so nice to find a dress that fits tall women like me. I've sent so many back for being too short.

Little bit disappointed order the green and black in a size 14 UK. Both arrived. The green dress while a perfect fit is almost see through! The black is a completely different size to what I ordered. It about a size 8-10

Amazing dress. I am a size 14 and 5 foot 7 in height . The dress fits perfect and hides my sins (belly). It makes me look slimmer which is great. I'm going to order a couple more in different colours..

I'm 5'10 size 12 and struggle to find maxi dresses long enough for me. This dress arrived in great timeand, I am extremely pleased with the quality, length and fit of the dress. This dress will have much wear this summer, highly recommend
