Lillian Rose 24oz Wedding Ceremony Unity Sand Black

I ordered black sand. It's kinda course you wouldn't find this on a beach and you couldn't use it for like a sand timer... But it's not big enough to be pebbles. It's just rough and kinda uneven but perfect for what I needed. I was just using this to make a terrarium.At first I wanted to use this with marimo but once I put this in water I knew I couldn't use it for that. A LOT of flakes and specks were floating on top and it discolored the water.Another issue was there were white grains in the sand... Enough to be annoying.I probably wouldn't buy again but I still found uses for it. I definitely would NOT use it at a wedding lol.

Bought the black sand to put in my black houseplant saucers (like tile grout, it turns black eventually, so may as well start out black!) and it works so well I bought another one. It is not as fine as ocean beach sand, but that's why I like it. I can actually tip out and gently drain the saucers and it stays in the bottom - guess it is just heavy enough not to flow out with the water.It comes in a screw top tube, so you can save it, but make sure to wipe the sand off the threads or it is hard to get off.

Used it as sand for my little can for cigarette butts in my backyard, and it’s perfect. One tube filled 2- coffee can type containers half full.

Lovely looking sand but it is super stinky! Bought it for decor and I had to put it outside a few days till the scent wore off. Very chemical scent.

My daughter used the black sand mixed with other colors for her wedding sand ceremony. Looked beautiful.

A LOT more than I was expecting! Nice and black but sparkles well. Not glitter-type sparkle, but rock-face type sparkle. A great filler for the wood project I was working on.

Did the job! Bit expensive for what it is though...
